Sinus issues with nasal pillows.
I've been constantly struggling with my nasal pillows and feeling like I can't breathe. Most nights I've only felt like I was getting air in through one nostril so I have upped my pressure thinking that it might help compensate for only 1/2 of my nose working. I am not sure if this worked or if I am...

I had a helluva night with my mask last night
Last night I got in bed and put on my mask just like every other night since I got it on the 23rd of September, but something was off last night. I never could put my finger on it, but it was driving me insane and it felt like I was suffocating even though I could feel air going in because I could o...

Re: Question about my Swift FX
What is your pressure? Are you using a ramp? If so, is the squishing only when you first put them on? You may need to up the pressure or start ramping at a higher pressure. My pressure is 6. I dont use the ramp because its not that useful. Last night I upped my pressure to 7 and tried the small pil...

Re: Question about my Swift FX
When you say "up the nose" I am hoping only the little cones are inside only the nostrils. They really don't go very far into the nostril opening. The large rim of the nasal pillow rests gently against the nostrils. 2 possible causes for the cones to collapse.. they are tired and need washing and/o...

Re: Question about my Swift FX
Your pillows should not be collapsing on themselves. Mine do that when they need to be replaced. Did you try washing with mild soap and warm water and drying them out. Not sure if oils from your body can cause this. When they are fully inflated are they collapsed? When they are fully inflated, do t...

Question about my Swift FX
I got my equipment last friday. Friday and Saturday I had no issues sleeping or anything, but I was also on pain killers from dental work I had done. By sunday I was a bit fidgety with the nose piece every time I woke up so I switched from Large to medium pillows for one night then back to large bec...

Got my machine finally
Last night was my first night with my machine. I would like to say I slept well but its hard to gauge because I also had a tooth pulled yesterday afternoon. All the pain pills kept me pretty groggy but I slept for a total of 11 hours with the mask on. I remember waking up quite a few times with my m...

Re: Got a call from my DME

I need to find a time to call the guy when I have my head on staight. Yesterday he called while I was in my boss' office and I had to run out and catch my cell...

Re: Soon to be CPAP user worried about face marks
I do breathe thru my nose during the day with no problem. At night my sinuses clog up like crazy. But within 30-45 minutes of being up they are all clear Hmm. This seems to happen to a few folks. Something about reclining and possibly some sort of allergy may be the cause. Some people have found th...
