Extra Unused CPAP Supplies free to good home...you pay postage

If anyone out there still uses the Amara View Full Face mask, I have some extra new, unused supplies in original packaging after switching to a different mask. I have 2 (two) large size Amara View Full Face Masks and 5 (five) large size Amara View Full Face cushions. I will ship these items to you f...

Re: PR Amara View Mask Question

Your answer makes perfect sense. I have had the Amara View for a while, so I might ask my sleep doc for some options for a replacement mask. Thanks bigdave36.

PR Amara View Mask Question

I use a Phillips Respironics Amara View Full Face mask with a PR System One REMstar BiPAP Auto SV Advance and I am having good success with the system and my BiPAP program in general. I do have a question for anyone using the Amara View mask... The mask cushion has two holes in it, one bigger hole f...

Re: Respironics Encore Smartcard?

Great news here. My DME just left a System One BiPAP Auto SV Advanced in exchange for the older BiPAP Auto SV Advanced that she left here last week. The System One machine has the "regular SD memory card" so I can keep using SleepyHead software. I know most people on this forum complain about their ...

Re: Respironics Encore Smartcard?

Thanks for the info Pugsy. I am going to see what my DME has to say and ask for the new model. If I get stuck with the old one, I will contact you for the help mentioned in your post and put a strategy together to be able to view my data.....

Respironics Encore Smartcard?

I just received my new Respironics BiPAP autoSV ADVANCED machine and it appears to have some kind of "non-standard" memory card called "Encore Smartcard". Can anyone tell me if (and how) I can get the data from this memory card and move it to my PC and the SleepHead software?

Re: Respironics BiPAP autoSV Info

Thank you for the response ameriken. I do not have a clue why I am getting the CAs. No injury, surgery or opiate use. For the record they can run as high as 25 to 30 per hour, the rest of the time they are around 20ish per hour…..

Respironics BiPAP autoSV Info

After a recent sleep study, my doctor has ordered a BiPAP machine change for me. My DME Company is delivering a Respironics BiPAP autoSV to me on Friday. Does anyone have knowledge of this device or have any helpful hints on it's use? It appears that my sleep study showed a high number of “Clear Air...

Is sleeping on your back bad?

I have noticed more than one instance where posters on this forum indicate that sleeping on your back is not good for you. Prior to my diagnosis of sleep apnea I slept alternated between sleeping on either side and my back all night. After my sleep apnea treatment started I have been trying to sleep...

Re: Help Needed Understanding Software

Thank you to each of you that responded to my question. I think that I will try Sleepyhead and see if it works for me. I am not a techie but I can usually make Windows programs work. Thanks again....

Help Needed Understanding Software

I am a little over two weeks in and my therapy is going better than expected from the “can I do this” aspect. I now want to know how I am doing statistically speaking. I am using a Phillips Respironics BiPAP Auto with Bi-Flex (REF 750) machine. It does have a removable SD card that it is using to co...

Newbie Day 8 Thank you Karen @ Padacheek-Best night yet.

Thanks to the Padacheek mask liner I had a very good night. Nose soreness is gone, face itching is mostly eliminated and mask leaks on my Quattro FX mask are greatly reduced. As everyone knows, at this early stage in the process I still have a lot of work to do. But thanks to the help from all of yo...

Re: Newbie Question - Nose Bridge Soreness

Thanks Janknitz and Alshain for the quick responses. I will try all of your hints. For the record, my DME said that he would be happy to supply a new mask if this one does not work out, but I was shocked when he answered my next question "And what happens if the second one does not work out (still w...
