Re: Mouth breather seeks advice/opinions...

Once you get used to it, you will be amazed at never having to adjust the FFM crap again.. Problem is your DME wont let you swap it, since i...

Re: dont have insurance
I was in the same boat, what I did was call my local sleep clinic, as to speak with someone in the billing dept. Ask if they ever do any work on a charity basis. Thats what I did and I got the whole thing, study, equip (granted not the best) and follow ups, the ability to swap masks, etc soup to nut...

Re: Yikes
It says Bipap Plus M series..
I am actually having this done as a charity case since I am unemployed but was really in desperate need of help, so I took what they gave me. I should have read up more about these things beforehand, but I didn't.

Yikes
Well my machine started behaving funny the last few days. It would intermittently power OFF (no lights, no air, nothin) then it would restart after I would take a few breaths. This situation was bad enough until last night it started beeping like crazy and flashing it's lights. I checked the display...

Re: Mask Question
Hi, BCZF. My second mask was the one you are currently using, the Comfortgel, and it was terribly uncomfortable on me, actually pressing into my face over my lower gums and pushing my teeth in...and leaving the bridge of my nose ulcerated. The next mask I tried was the Forma mask and because it lea...

Mask Question
Hi.. I'm new here.. Been on my Bipap machine for around 2 weeks.. Things are going pretty well so far (neck ache from the headgear and backaches notwithstanding). However I am having a heck of a time with this mask, I'm a larger guy, and the constant adjustment and readjustment, raising and lowering...

Re: Newbie would like to hear success stories, please.
Hello Been on my Bi Pap for 2 weeks now, and it really has changed my life (for one thing I can drive without falling asleep!) as you can see by my sig I am a ffm user due to my severe apnea. Been having neck aches (probably due to to the straps being too tight) and lower back aches (probably due to...
