Encorfe Pro 2 Flags
I recently downloaded Encore Pro 2 and am now trying to interpret the data. I'm trying to determine when my apneas occur relative to when my machine ramps up but when I look at the Sleep Therapy Flags I'm not sure which line shows the AHI events. Is it the line labeled OA?

Re: Update on husband
Regina, I'm 5'10" and 160 lbs which means weight did not play any part in my sleep apnea. I also experience frequent congestion and need to wear a full face mask. Consequently I can relate to his feeling of claustrophobia and have experienced it on several occasions particularly when one of my nostr...

Re: Special Cpap pillow
I currently use the Countour CpapMax pillow and am very satisfied with it. I have only been using cpap for 5 weeks and this pillow has helped me get used to the whole process. There are a number of pillows out there of various design that you can choose from and there is a lot of information on this...

Re: Using bathroom during the night....
When I get up in the night to use the restroom I take off the mask and shut off the machine. Because this is a common occurrence, I have also been concerned that ramping up 2-3 times a night may be affecting my AHI numbers and my overall therapy by decreasing the amount of time I spend at full press...

Re: Sleepyhead
Thank you everyone for all of your input. Guess I better just dive in and be a little more patient. I've been using my machine for about 3.5 weeks and it seems my AHI's are increasing little by little so I'm anxious to find out what's going on. Thanks again for all the great info!

Re: Contour CPAP Pillow?????
I just recently started using the Countour CpapMax pillow and really like it. Like you, I use a lot of soft pillows and had my reservations about something new. The CpapMax is smaller than I thought it would be and a bit stiffer. The bottom line for me is that the cut-outs on either side of the pill...

Sleepyhead
I'm new to the whole software thing but downloaded sleepyhead yesterday. It seems pretty user friendly but I'm having trouble deciphering some of the terms and reading the graphs. I also need help interpreting the data so that I can understand my sleep situation and make the necessary changes. Is th...

Re: What am I doing wrong?
Chreylann, sorry to hear you're having such a rough time but rest assured, you are not alone. I'm just four weeks into this myself and although progress is slow, there is progress. The posts you're reading from others in this forum are spot on and good advice. I have a Quatro FX as well and using gl...

Air leak around humidifier
Only been using my machine for three weeks but last night I noticed a significant amount of air coming out from around my humidifier. The leak stopped when I removed my mask but resumed when I put it back on. I'm concerned that there may be a loss of pressure that is effecting my therapy. Is this no...

Re: New CPAP user struggling along
Randal, I'm just entering my third week with cpap and have the FX as well. Since I'm such a newbie I don't have the sage advice given by all the nice people on this site but I'm exactly where you are and can relate 100%. I just keep telling myself that "this too shall pass" and try to remember that ...
