Re: Report From a Newbie AKA What Is The Point of That?
Is it possible to attach a file here? No. There is no way to attach files at this forum either on the forum posts or private messages. If you are wanting to show us your report for comments you can use simple screen shots. Great, Pugsy! Thanks and sorry for taking so long to answer that, I was trav...

Re: Report From a Newbie AKA What Is The Point of That?
I'd be interested in seeing a data report. The SmartLink will also show your exhale puffs and NRI events. According to the DeVilbiss literature, Emilia, I'll post one report summary here later, ok? I would love to see what you all think about it. Now I'm working, soon I'm going home so I can post i...

Re: Report From a Newbie AKA What Is The Point of That?
Taking a look at my reports from august until now, my leak rate is around 30 to 40 L/min! I believe that the Intellipap machine reports TOTAL leak which includes mask normal intentional vent rate (which depends on mask type and pressure used). So we cannot compare this reported leak rate to say the...

Re: Report From a Newbie AKA What Is The Point of That?
Should I quit? No. Having 60 events per hour prior to cpap therapy is not something you want to go back to. Some people it simply takes a long time to notice any improvement. Some people never see much improvement. Some people have other issues that impact how they feel the next day unrelated to sl...

Re: Report From a Newbie AKA What Is The Point of That?
OP, have you had your oxygen levels tested? I'm not seeing much improvement with CPAP either, but my oxygen levels were low, too. get the results of an overnight oximeter test tomorrow. Frankly, if they can't get me feeling better with CPAP or BiPAP, I will seriously consider stopping it. My CPAP e...

Re: Report From a Newbie AKA What Is The Point of That?
Fabio, Are you certain that the pressure is not leaking out your mouth? When the pressure is lost through the mouth the therapy is not effective. Regarding sleeping positions, I can sleep on back, sides, or stomach with my mask. Have you thought through the sleeping positions and mask placement so ...

Report From a Newbie AKA What Is The Point of That?
Hi all, Since the end of 2010 when my doctor first said that I should do some tests with a machine to see how I was sleeping, because this could be the root of my problems, I decided to go deep on this. The first exam reported a severe apnea, something around 30 per hour. The doctor was expecting fo...

Re: Intellipap Smartlink SD Card
Thank you Emilia. Funny how life is, huh? The day I decide to ask for help here is the day that I got it working. Now I bought a new Sd card and everything was just fine. It seems the problem was either myself or my old Sd cards. Thank you very much!!

Intellipap Smartlink SD Card
Straight to the point, I lost my Smartlink SD Card. Then, I tried to use two other regular sd cards (not from Devilbiss) and had no success. Since a Sd card is a Sd card, no matter if from Devilbiss or from Sandisk, what I am doing wrong? Is there something I should do to the Sd card before I use it...

Intellipap smartflex irnd and ernd
Hi all, i'm struggling here to find the best setup on my Apap machine. So, I'm facing each config with care, doing my tests and hopefully expecting to reach nirvana one day. My question now is about the smartflex irnd an ernd. What exatcly these settings do, what can happen when we change them and w...

Re: Exhale Puff Index (EPI)
Maybe I just found my perfect setup. The last two nights I had EPI of 6 and 4. I did some changes and my config now is 7-min/12-max. Also, I set the delay at 7 (minimum) instead of lower numbers which were making me struggle to breathe. Today I finally received my Intellipap Smartlink software with ...
