5:00 a.m. woke to the sound of ...

my machine dropping on the floor and water spilling out all over the place. Gee... that was great fun... not! I threw some towels on the carpet and went back to sleep without it on.

I think I got tangled in the hose, and knocked it off the night stand. I hope the thing works tonight.

Nasal Pillow... question

The nasal pillow sits directly on my upper lip and is very annoying. I've tried a few things, but then I seem to knock the little things that go in the nose out of place. I hope this makes some sense...

Suggestions would be really appreciated.

I used an oximeter during the sleep study, and once at home when I first started using the machine. Wondering if you heard this correctly?

Re: Looking for sites where sleep techs hangout

The techs I have talked with were VERY careful not to discuss data or therapy or anything. They had clearly been told the limits of their discourse with patients and weren't about to run afoul of Management. I think we have the same techs! I had no idea they couldn't discuss data or therapy. It wou...

Re: Looking for sites where sleep techs hangout

"Or what the tech they doin" My tech gets so nervous when I ask her questions. She does what she has to do so I won't call the sleep specialist doc and complain. She acts like she knows nothin (perhaps true), and always suggests that I call my doctor - my internist. I wonder what type of schooling t...

Only been using for a month, so no silly things so far. However, I'll keep this thread close by... have a feeling I'll have a few to share before long.

Re: Post deleted

Some problems exist on the very best of Boards... it's the nature of things... people are different and disagree. That's not why most of us are here tho. We are here b/c we have a problem and are tying to deal with it the best way possible. Getting use to this new diagnosis isn't easy... it helps to...
