Re: Adjust humidifier Remstar Plus
Thanks. I was able to change it based on the manual. I also need to decrease the pressure. are directions available for that? I now use the IntelliPap adjustable machine with range of 8 - 12 with pressure mostly staying at 9. The Remstar is set at 10 and I want to set at 9. I'll only use Remstar as ...

Ultimate Chin Strap
Hi everyone. It's been awhile since I've been here. Using CPAP since 2006. Past 2 years or so, no major issues. However, a month or so ago, losing air through mouth is a problem. I have various chinstraps with the ruby red working best of late. Even with that good fit, my lips seem to open. Husband ...

Re: weird hours on IntelliPap
Ok. I'll try that. I did unplug it earlier today. Interesting that In the 8 or 9 months I've had the IntelliPap, I didn't,t have to do this. Thanks

Re: weird hours on IntelliPap
I spoke again with customer service and she did speak with DeVilbiss. I need to send the machine back and they will send to DeVilbiss. Loaner machines are not covered in the warranty so $139 to rent loaner. I do have an old machine that is fixed pressure but it's humidifier is not adequate. I bought...

Re: weird hours on IntelliPap
Ok, spoke with customer service of host. She said that if its registering only 2 or 3 hours a night, then its only providing therapy for those hours even though I slept 7 hours. My mask is on securely and I use chin strap. This all started about June 29th. What could be the reason for this? Seems it...

I'm on phone holding with help. I always check before noon. Did the unplugging thing. No luck. Will let you know. Thanks for responding.

weird hours on IntelliPap
I've had my machine since last fall and last week it started incorrectly showing hrs used in a night. For ex, when I used it for 7 hours, its shows 2 hours. It won't show the true hours, always shows 2 or 3 hrs. Anyone had this issue with the IntelliPap auto? Otherwise, it works great.

Re: very uncomfortable dry airway
I recently tried FF - Resmed Quatro. It always leaked at bottom corners, no matter how I adjusted it AND I snored into it as well! I don't have dry mouth and my chin strap is tight. Thanks for the responses. I read in another post about FF masks that fit under the chin.

very uncomfortable dry airway
I continue to experience highly uncomfortable dry throat and airway since using nasal pillows. I have tried to switch back to just nasal mask but snore with it and wake up lousy. I used nasal mask for couple of years with no trouble. I increase the humidity but I think the more direct airflow with p...

Re: need to switch from pillows to nasal
Thanks for your reply, unsuspected. Yes, I am thinking that there is a transitional adjustment time. Its just no fun. I did well on nasal for several years, then switched because I was tired of the heaviness and pressure points leaving marks. There was also a transitional time going from nasal to pi...

need to switch from pillows to nasal
Hi everyone. I posted a while back about snoring with nasal mask after using pillows for a while. Several of you reported the same experience. I really want to get back to the nasal mask because I am increasingly uncomfortable with the air making my airway dry and waking up alot. I use humidfier. Th...

Re: snoring with nasal vs pillows
I tried full face about 4 years ago and couldn't control the leaks and the air felt weird going in my mouth - making my mouth get puffed out with air and dry. Maybe the newer masks out now would be better and I have a better machine with better humidifier. I'm comforted a little by hearing that some...
