Re: Camping/Is it safe to go a few days withiut using the CPAP M

My sig other and I just came back from the August long weekend camping trip. We hammock hang, and had not yet planned on how to set up the cpaps and battery thing. We survived, but we both came close to kissing the machines when we crawled into bed when we got back. I know I have done it before, but...

Re: What do you want in a DME?

I want honesty, integrity, and knowledge. I understand and support the profit motive, but only to an extent. Re: Cuddling/spooning on CPAP

I like to cuddle up to my girlfriend's back, and so would worry about mask air blowing on her head. I have made sure the pillow case partially covered the exiting air, and there doesnt seem to be any problem. Of course, now she is getting her own cpap, so we can take turns "blowing on each other":D

Re: POLL: How long do you think you had SA before you 'knew'?

I remember trying to camp with others when I was in my 20s, and keeping them awake with my snoring. My son tells how he could hear my snoring when he was in the basement in the opposite end of the house from my bedroom. I gained weight in my 30s and 40s, and by the time I was finally diagnosed, I wa...

Re: Newbie would like to hear success stories, please.

Well, I have been attached to the machine, now for almost 6 years. I can hardly remember the adjustment process. All I can say is that I adjusted, and now, cannot sleep well without the breeze up the nose. I am one of the fortunate ones who likes the airflow, without ramp, and without any letoff upo...
