I have seen the video. It's very helpful. You must have seen a different video than I did. The one I saw basically boiled down to "If you have leaks, the mask is either too loose or too tight." I would try all the nasal options and alternatives first. Lee I've thought about trying a nasal mask, but I am a mouth breather... I think... though I think with the FFM I am breathing through my nose more. In any case, it really seems that given my DME situation, I've gotta make this mask work, at...

It's funny that you mention that.... I did that very thing last night. Cut out a piece of a t-shirt and used it as a test liner. It seemed to work okay, I got almost 6 hours of uninterrupted sleep. If it was leaking at the nose, it at least wasn't blowing into my eyes. AHI was 1.2, but leak was 12L/m.

Sleep study AHI was 18.7.

Here are my total numbers with CPAP:

The machine is an S9 Elite. I don't know how I missed that. Here's the whole timeline. Saw regular doc, who referred me to sleep doc. Saw the sleep doc... he ordered a sleep study. I actually had to do 2 studies, at the first one I couldn't sleep so only got OSA diagnosis, I had to go back for CPAP ...

Well, that pretty much confirms what I already thought. If I knew how, I'd fire this place, but I've written them some awfully big checks.

I've tried. The RT "helping" me has basically told me that my insurance company won't cover another mask, so she won't sell it to me. There is a "warranty replacement" that was used up after she sent me home with the wrong size. I qualify for another mask in 2 months.
