Re: Help! I can't wake up in morning!
If you are trying to get up in the dark, you might try what is called a "dawn simulator." Personally, I am quite light sensitive, and once the sun comes up, I am usually awake. I just bought one made by Phillps on Amazon, but you can get them elsewhere. I found that reading the reviews on Amazon on ...

Re: PR System One Heated Humidifier Tank, Won't Fill
After sitting on the kitchen counter for an hour, no puddle or leaks. I will have to be more careful filling it. I do take it out of machine, but was obviously a bit cavalier with regard to the angle of fill. Thanks everyone.

Re: PR System One Heated Humidifier Tank, Won't Fill
Make that the 50% line. I am doing a little differential diagnosis. I took it out filled to the 50% line and it is sitting on the kitchen counter. It seems to me if the tank has a leak, I will soon be seeing a puddle on the kitchen counter. Otherwise, it is just an orientation and slopover issue....

Re: First time user...lost and need guidance...
I started off with the same set up in July. However, I am not using the Biflex option, the straight cpap with cflex set at 2. Maybe you don't need bipap. The cflex can take care of the exhale part. The biggest switch I made was changing to a nasal mask. That has really helped. I still do not have th...

Re: PR System One Heated Humidifier Tank, Won't Fill
Guess I have to look for the overflow hole. I am only filling it to the 1/3 marked line, not the overall holding capacity.

PR System One Heated Humidifier Tank, Won't Fill
I can only fill my PR System One Heated Humidifier tank about 1/3 full before it starts leaking over the table. Is this normal or is it broken?

Re: XPAP on International flights, United
My seat went back to about 45 Degrees, but still slept badly. I am rather short and do not really fit the "parameters" of their standard seat so never fit quite right. Most of the slender women were curled up into balls, the men assumed all sorts of positions....

Re: Travel
You might want to call it a sleep machine, especially if going overseas. Let's face it, these are not rocket scientists. I did have to take it out of the case along with my laptop. I added a hand towel for extra padding around the machine, even though I did carry it on the plane and I am glad it did.

XPAP on International flights, United
Here is my experience from last week. I had a ten hour flight from Chicago to Sao Paulo Brazil and back again a week later, on United. It took me over 4 hours and numerous switches and hang ups to get to the med team at United. They said it was too late to approve the use on the flight down (48 hour...

Re: Newbie: Respironics BiPap Pro Biflex need help!
Thanks. Yesterday the DME dropped off a nasal mask and chin strap. About half way thru the night I realized I did not need that chin strap because if I attempted to breath through my mouth it was like some giant pressure differential and I gasped and woke up. So I spent the last few hours without th...

Pugsy, that is the right machine. Where does everyone get the pictures to post? Looks like I have some reading to do.

Re: Newbie: Respironics BiPap Pro Biflex need help!
Thank you everyone. We show Cardigan Welsh Corgis. We have a Grand Champion, a Champion and three pet quality. We hope to breed the Grand Champion to the Champion next time she cycles, which probably won't be until the fall. The last litter he threw had 12 puppies and they all lived! He thought he w...

Newbie: Respironics BiPap Pro Biflex need help!
How do I get an operator's manual, clinician's manual, software, whatever I need to get started to understand my machine, its data and what I can learn from it? DME was all smiles when she brought equipment out, left no manuals or instructions for machine and now is MIA. I have had it for two weeks ...
