Help in the Keys please...

Okay folks! Just moved down the Keys. Have my CPAP, but I have no clue on how to find a DME to hook me up with an O2 generator. My DME in Michigan doesn't serve this area and they weren't much help on who to call. Thanks!!!

Re: bactaria in water tank?

I haven't had this problem. I use a little Listerine (mouth wash) once a month and soak it through out the day. Early evening, I rinse it and let it air dry before adding distilled water. Listerine is antibacterial and I also soak my hose and mask in it. Plus I get a little burst of minty freshness ...

Thank you to everyone for the tips on traveling with my CPAP. Our trip to Cabo san Lucas was the best ever. For one thing! I'm in all the pictures this time cuz I wasn't sleeping everywhere on the resort!!!! I was able to walk around the resort being 57 lbs lighter, and I felt amazing all day and al...

Any place that does car repair will know where to get distilled water.
Great idea! Thank you so much!

Thanks a lot! That was my plan, the bottled h2o!

Thanks for your help, and you bet! I'll have 2 of those delicious umbrella drinks for you!

Saved my Life!

It's been 5 months since I got "Roger", my CPAP. I have had no naps through out the day, and I feel AMAZING!!! I have lost 33 lbs, and I feel like my life is 3 dimensional again. I have recommended this site to my family and friends, and even my DME to pass along. All of you have been wonderful with...

Re: My fist night with CPAP

Congrats! I know what you mean about feeling so good after your first night. I had to wait a week for my machine and it was like being allowed just one jelly bean! It's been 2 weeks now and I have not had a single nap. I immediately felt amazing! I feel like I'm seeing my life in color now. This has...

Re: POLL: How long do you think you had SA before you 'knew'?

A really long time. My "wake-up call" was when I was on vacation in Mexico with friends. Upon looking at pics, I kept asking, "Where am I in this pic?" or "where was I when this was taken?" The answer was "sleeping in the lobby..." or "napping by the pool". Wow... I slept through the whole vacation!...

I am still pretty new to the "sleep-apnea universe" and am so thankful for this page. You guys have the best answers for the craziest questions! So my question's kinda weird.
