Medicare compliance requirements
I recently turned in the SD card to Lincare for the 30 day check for medicare compliance. When I pulled the card the machine was stating 29 days over 4 hours, an average of about 7 hours/night, AHI of 1-1.1, Large leak 0%. Is there any reason why I would receive a phone call from Lincare with them s...

Re: Heated tubing vs cover
From what I have seen it sounds like that might be difficult/impossible to get insurance (medicare / illinois medicaid) to pay for but switching to something like the S9 with climateline tubing would be covered. That may be true, but they really should. If you do have to pay out of pocket, $160 for...

Heated tubing vs cover
I am having issues with rainout in my hose/mask and am wondering whether it would be better to get a hose cover or talk to my doctor about a heated tube. The only feasible location for my cpap machine makes it so the furnace vent (central air) is blowing on the tube and a stand fan sitting by my bed...

Re: Pressure in ears
Last night I swallowed and had a sharp pain in my left ear so this has gone from uncomfortable to actually painful. The soonest I can get in with my doctor is the 5th so hopefully last night was the only time that happens.

Re: POLL: How Many Doctors Do You Have ?
If you count doctors I am not actively seeing the list is fairly long for my age. (22) General practitioner and eye doctor (cataract surgery not long after birth) are the only two I see on a somewhat regular basis and I guess I also have dealt with the sleep doctor who read the sleep study results a...

Pressure in ears
I just got my CPAP machine yesterday ( Respironics Remstar Pro C-Flex+) with heated humidifier. I was on APAP over a year ago and was noncompliant due to mental illness. Previously my pressure was 11-14 and my prescription now is 15. The humidifier was set to 2 which was too much heat for me but bar...
