Re: How to find AHI readout on ResMed AirSense 10?
My brother has just set up his MyAir account and can read his numbers (which are still a little higher than I could wish them to be, but that's another problem). I've written him about how to adjust what shows up on the screen of his cpap machine, but I'm not sure he's done that yet. Thanks to every...

Re: How to find AHI readout on ResMed AirSense 10?
Thank you, Pugsy. His machine is an AutoSet, and I've sent him the information about ordering the manual. It's disturbing to think that ResMed should expect its cpap users not to want this information.

How to find AHI readout on ResMed AirSense 10?
My brother, newly diagnosed and brand new to all this, just received a ResMed AirSense 10. He does not know how to find his AHI readabout, and since he's on the opposite coast from me, I can't help him. I've had him download SleepHead, but is there not a quick way to find abbreviated information fro...

Re: Low Vitamin D level appears to cause sleep apnea
She gestures towards interesting connections, but she does herself no favors by her constant overstatements. Until 1600 there was no food in the winter so we hibernated instead of eating? Really? We are exposed to UVB only in the summer? Again, really? She works at a quite crude level. This doesn't ...

Easy first night
Thanks to all the very good advice I've read on this forum I had a perfectly easy time getting my xpap machine from my DME yesterday and a perfectly easy night sleeping with it last night: 8 hours, low (I think 3.8 ) AHI. It felt like a fairly ordinary night, and I woke up not transformed but feelin...

Re: Is there a CPAP Honeymoon Syndrome??
I am still waiting to start therapy, but I've been assiduously reading these forums and noticing--uneasily--how many people in thread after thread mention just this problem. The strangest thing I've noticed is how often new users come through a titration study feeling great and then immediately, wit...

Re: Hi from yet another new member
Thanks for the warm welcome, everybody! I've read all the recommended information (and much more, too) and have a file of preparation notes.
I can't imagine how people go through all this without the help of this community.
Best,
Susan

Hi from yet another new member
Hi, everyone. I've been reading these forums for the past few weeks, ever since I was diagnosed with moderate OSA, and have learned quite a lot. Like so many others, I've been very impressed with the high level of discussion here and appreciate the friendliness of the community. It's a really wonder...
