Re: "First Drug Therapy for Sleep Apnea"

A long way to go to get to first. So far, it's only FDA approved for diabetes and obesity. If you want it for OSA, you'll need to find a doctor willing to prescribe off label; and then your insurance won't cover this expensive medication. If you happen to be obese with OSA your doctor may accommodat...

I have my doubts that would work with either old or new style P10 headgear.
The author stated it was for a P10i to keep the rear strap from sliding up. I can confirm it also works with a Swift FX.

Adventures with boiling

My Swift FX pillow began to leak around the edges. I could get it to stop, but the slightest movement caused it to start again. Tightening the strap helped only minimally. I pulled out my new spare and all was well. Before sending the old off to the landfill, I decided to try a rejuvenation techniqu...

Re: Lowenstein CPAP Machine

Digital alarm clock display on a machine that already tracks time? Hose connection and touch screen on the front? 400mL humidifier tank? Quiet? Advanced algorithm? five year warranty? What are they thinking?

Re: New Z2 keeps stopping

This happened with my Z1 when I tried to use both the battery and external power. When I checked the instructions, it said to use either, not both. I now remove the Z1 from the cradle whenever charging the battery.

Re: Help Using CPAP On Flight

The wattage rating of the brick is the maximum. It will only draw the wattage it needs to provide the needed output plus some loss. The biggest draw is generally the humidifier, which was why I suggested turning it off. If your pressure goes very high, you might consider getting a meter to check it ...

Re: resmed 9 air blowing smells like cedar

I've noticed the air smells like whatever the machine is sitting on or has picked up in the past. Cleaners, polish, campground smoke, etc. If the source is no longer present, changing the filter does the job.

You may need to turn the humidifier off if over the wattage limit.
