Re: Many problems and won't hit it once
Those that are affected by magnetic fields should consider relocating to a planet that hasn't any.

Turn off airplane mode and there should be no reminders. Don't wish to transmit? Disconnect the modem.

Re: Resmed P30i mask, need help
I don't advise modifying the mask vent. These are designed to vent enough air to keep CO2 from building up, while still providing pressure for therapy. Vents should only let air out. If the machine is not delivering enough air, try adjusting the machine as mlmollenkamp suggested.

Re: Auto on/off: consensus on reliability? (Airsense 11)
My experience is with the AS10 and a nasal mask. Auto on only fails when I fail to seat the humidifier properly. Auto off never gets the chance to fail, because I switch it off manually to avoid the noise.

Re: How do you sleep?
I'm sure my sleep study was thrown off by the fact they made me wear clothing over all the sensors. I generally wear nothing but my Swift FX.

Imagine, if you will, waking up and having MacArther Park running around your brain. Yes, you will need professional help at that point. If you don't know that song, consider yourself lucky! Do NOT look it up! You'll be sorry... Anyone watching the Olympics? I just watched Alysa Liu win gold skatin...

Re: CPAP with generator
My truck has a built in un-pure sine wave inverter that failed to power a heating pad, but the pad runs on AC. The CPAPs all convert the AC to DC at the brick. I would not think a less than pure sine wave AC would bother the bricks. Note that the portable power station linked below also provides 12 ...

Re: CPAP with generator
If you will be staying in campgrounds, you'll find most of them have quiet hours when generator use is forbidden. Many have AC power available, but not all.

Re: Using battery with my cpap on plane trip
I also avoid using my device on board. But why use a battery when so many planes now have AC receptacles? I believe there is a battery size limitation.

Re: Muffler for Resmed Mini
I believe the mini has a special connection system to go with the Humidx masks. There are adapters available to connect a standard hose, but if you want to use humidx mask you would need to adapt back.

Re: MAD oral appliance effective alternative to CPAP?
I used a mouthpiece prior to CPAP. It works by keeping the lower jaw thrust forward and slightly open. This unnatural position caused TMJ while not preventing apnea. Now much better on CPAP.
