Dan how can you justify, with good conscience, selling a machine that retail for 255.00 for 1695.00 dollars? My insurances part is 1017.00 and they expect me to pay the balance. Other than selling thing to gov't I don't how you get away with making a 1450.00 profit OVER a competors retail price. Who...

the clinic my HMO is at has an exclusive contract with this DME so I can't buy a machine on my own w/o switching Drs. If "buy a machine on my own" means you're willing to buy it using your own money, not going through your insurance at all, then you can buy ANY cpap or autopap machine you want, usi...

3. You have cpaper's high and will soon come down to a more normal experience. After two nights on the machine I was so elated I went mountain climbing for the first time in five years. But once the elation passed I found I needed about a year to get to a good energy level (I was 60 when treatment ...

While my INS. covered my cpap 100% they only covered 50% of my humidfier. DME called me adn ask for the other half adn tried to get me to pay 150 for a passover humidfier, remind you this is only 1/2 the cost. Needless to say I bought one onli for 95.00 and saved myself 55.00 adn my INS some cash as...

The world is too PC these days. One night get up with mask and hoses on adn look in the mirror. Its funny !! and scary to the lil ones. I was shocked how many people I knew were using cpaps w/o telling anyone. They need exposure good or bad to erase the stigma.

How much do you get up. Our kids are older but I was never up more than an hour a night. You can still get 5-7 good CPAP hours I would assume. I don't think giving up an hour or 2 to save your marriage and/or keep peace and harmony alive in your house is gonna hurt you.

As far as big picture it sure would of been nice to find you guys BEFORE I got the...

I agree with Wulfman: Enjoy the dreams. Prior to starting cpap, I had not had dreams in years. You dream in the REM stage of sleep and you have to go through the first four stages of sleep to get to REM. Stages three and four are the deep stages of sleep. A few nights after I started cpap I had a w...

The only ailment I ahd with my apnea, that I know of, is sleeping while I drive. This became a real issue when I wasn't getting any sleep. I would drive 100-150 mile a day. thank God I survive and no one ever got hurt.
