Re: DIY power bank
Maybe THD (total harmonic distortion) is the wrong term within this context. I believe a pure sine wave is what is being referred to as preferred for medical equipment.

Re: DIY power bank
One more thought, are you concerned at all about THD when using off the shelf power banks and this type of inverter with medical devices? Thank you

Re: DIY power bank
With this cord you can use a 12V battery and your neighbors will thank you. https://www.amazon.com/airsense-10-power-cord/s?k=airsense+10+power+cord I use mine on 12V every night. Never notice power interruptions. When I travel I take the 12V cord too. Some reading.... https://www.cpaptalk.com/view...

Re: DIY power bank
Why not go for 24V and save the inverter? Two car batteries in series will power that thing for weeks. I keep two generators ready, here in Texas things are run so that we don't share grids with anybody, consequently we get to freeze two years out of four lately. All you're looking for then is the ...

DIY power bank
We frequently lose power. I am considering purchasing a 12V lithium-ion battery and inverter to power my ResMed AirSense 10. Has anyone else explored this as a workable option? Thank you.

Re: Sleepyhead installation on Debian 9.x and Ubuntu 18.04 LTS failed (I think)
I've used Synaptic to install the 'sleepyhead' package from the repository on both Debian 9 and Ubuntu 18.04. The installation failed as far as I can tell, because I can't find the application in the menu or CLI. I can provide more specifics about the desktop environment, etc. but I thought maybe I...

Re: Sleepyhead installation on Debian 9.x and Ubuntu 18.04 LTS failed (I think)
The EXE version failed to install under PlayonLinux. Do you know what file type the Linux version is supposed to bet? It's not an archive or DEB.Jas_williams wrote: ↑Thu Jan 10, 2019 3:17 pmTry this link https://sleepyhead.jedimark.net/testing/1.1.0/ it might work it might not

Snap, didn't think of that. I now got
SleepyHead-1.0.0-beta-2-Snapshot-Win32-OpenGL-20160422
installed under PlayonLinux; and it works.
Thanks mate

Re: Sleepyhead installation on Debian 9.x and Ubuntu 18.04 LTS failed (I think)
According to Jedimark's website, Sleepyhead has been released for Ubuntu 15.04 only; all other distros/versions will require building from source. Hm, weird. I wonder how common it is for a broken package to make it through 3 OS version upgrades without being removed. Thanks for pointing this out.

Re: cms50d or cm50dl, which one?
Is the CMS 50 EW compatible with SleepyHead? Thanks The CMS50EW is well worth looking at; $119 delivered and it includes BLUETOOTH connectivity(or USB), lithium battery, 24 hrs. recording time, etc. I have been using the E series for some time and they are also rugged. I thought I had lost one to be...

Re: Battery Kit & Insurance
I will call my insurance, but I am sure they'll consider it a "luxury item"; unbelievable. Enjoy your trip. Thanks to everyone who responded. I'll keep you posted. I work in employee benefits, so I am fairly cognizant of what WE cover (and we have a pretty generous coverage). The battery pack is con...

Re: Disinfect with microwave
Interesting thoughts I definitely think the microwave could be used on the mask. Theoretically the silicone shouldn't melt. I'll try it out in small short increments (3 sec) to see, if the silicone gets warm at all. I think I will also try the water chamber in a pot with lid and a vegetable steamer ...
