Re: Dream wear nasal mask
That is not normal. Likely it's a defective cushion. I would ask your supplier for a replacement.

Re: Resmed F20
The F20 is one of the quietest masks out there. I suspect there is a loose connection somewhere between your CPAP->humidifier->hose->mask, or maybe something is wrong with your CPAP.

Re: Mask for extra small nose
The Wisp mask has a Petite cushion that is very small. It's a nasal mask though so you might try it with a chin strap to keep your mouth closed. There is also a Wisp youth mask that is even smaller (has an animal print cover though). You could also consider the FitLife total face mask that seals aro...

Re: Persistent Mask Leak - Please Help!
Some ideas to consider: - Have you tried an under-the-nose style full face mask (e.g. Amara View, F30)? I find I can tighten the mouth portion of these masks more effectively because they don't span across my cheeks so they can rotate back on the lower jaw without creating leaks at the top of the ma...

Re: Nose Distortion = Looking for Alternative to Opus 360
Do you know your machine pressure settings? I'm wondering if the distortion of your nose is due to the air pressure rather than the nasal pillow design. You might consider a more traditional nasal mask (e.g. Wisp or N20) that goes over your nose, so the air pressure is balanced on both the inside an...

Re: Problem with DreamWear FFM
What size cushion are you using? I think the larger sizes of the DreamWear full face cushion have more curvature in that area. Maybe try a larger size if you think you can?

Re: Adjustment to new Dreamstation?
I don't think there is a "Pillows" mask type setting on the Dreamstation, so maybe take another look at that setting and make sure you have it right? It should be something like "X1" (the number depends on the size of your Nuance mask, so you'll need to look that up). If you set the Dreamstation Mas...

Re: Airfit p10 Vs Swift Fx
If you don't end up liking the ear loops, it might be possible to take the DreamWear headgear with arms and put it on the Swift FX. That would probably make for an extremely stable mask with a back strap that doesn't ride up.

There is a felt disc under that plastic cover, so over time it would be reasonable to see some of the fibers from the felt peaking out.

Re: Seeking new mask
If you like the DreamWear, there is a new pillows cushion for it that you could try. https://www.cpap.com/productpage/pr-dreamwear-cpap-nasal-pillow-silicone-cushion Pillows are generally a bit more stable than the under-the-nose nasal cushions. The Swift FX is ok, but the DreamWear headgear with A...

Re: Dreamwear full face mask - sounds and leaks
When you are wearing the mask, how close is the frame to the front of your ear? If it's close (less than about 1 inch) you might try a smaller frame. The smaller frame will sit further forward on your head and should reduce the inhalation noise you are hearing; The closer the frame is to your ear th...

Re: Mask issues
12 is an average pressure, definitely not too high for the masks you mentioned. The scenario you described, where your leaks start through the night as your auto CPAP increases pressure is very common. Especially with full face masks that are bigger, the air pressure pushes the mask off your face so...

Re: Dreamwear: Nasal cushion, full face headgear?
For the DreamWear nasal and pillows there is a "headgear with arms" that helps prevent the headgear from riding up on the back of your head (if you have that issue).
