Re: Just got Encore - Have Central Apenas
Have you found anyone else on the list have OPCA? I hope you are able to find people who can help you, too; but thank goodness you are here to help those of us with just regualar apneas. I hope you have not had kidney damage from the Ibuprofen, and that your headaches are controlled. Take care and b...

Re: Just got Encore - Have Central Apenas
Thanks for your extensive response; I appreciate your effort in order to help me! I’m glad to hear that my central apnea number is very low – and even within a normal range. I will try the elevating-the-pillow trick and bump up my lower pressure number by .5. I actually tried it tonight but for some...

Just got Encore - Have Central Apenas
Greetings! I've just got Encore Viewer and am looking at the daily detailed information. What I have noticed is that my CA (Clear Airway Apnea - which I believe are also called "Centrals") occur more frequently than my Obstructed Airway Apneas. Both are probably both considered low, but I always see...

Re: New to Encore Viewer: Basic questions....
Hi, Pugsy,
I am still trying to get my report copied on the list.
It isn't working when I try to preview the report.
I'm low tech, but have surprised myself that I have gotten this far!
Hopefully, I will have it uploaded soon.
Thanks for looking it over for me.

Re: vertigo
I’ve had vertigo in the past and am certainly no expert, but I can pass what information/experience I have along to you. Try this: When you are lying on your side in bed, open your eyes. Are object actually spinning? Are they spinning to the left or to the right? Switch sides. Does the spinning slow...

Re: New to Encore Viewer: More CA than OA
Thank you ,Pugsy, for your response. I did not know that the leak number includes the normal venting. This is good to know! Although my AHI is low, I am concerned because if I am reading the report correctly it looks like I am having more centrals than OA. Should I be worrked about this? Here are my...

Re: Still have the extreme dizziness
I, too, had dizziness. I switched from the nasal pillows to the full-face mask - and also lowered my pressure. The dizziness went away. I have a suspicion that the nasal pillows forced too much air up my nose. It's not natural to have that much air pressure flowing up your nose, and maybe we’re just...

New to Encore Viewer: Basic questions....
Greetings, Everyone, I just installed Encore Viewer a few days ago and am trying to make sense of the reports. I have a low learning curve but am determined to make sense of all of this. If anyone is able to shed light on the following questions I would be very appreciative! Which reports and specif...

More people on CPAP or APAP...?
I'm still new to the sleep apnea process and have been reading many of the posts on this list. I am feeling better but don't want to settle for anything less than the best I can hope for. Most days are really groggy and mentally fuzzy in the a.m. and better in the afternoon. On my best day I had an ...

Manual/Links for Encore Viewer
Greetings, I just ordered Encore Viewer, but have heard that it does not come with an instruction manual. Does anyone know if/where one is available? Is there a link or other source which might be able to help me decipher the information? I should receive it tomorrow and am very excited! Thanks for ...

Re: Software(s) Not Working....
Oh, thank you Pugsy and Dale!!
Yes I do have 32-bit and will get Encore Viewer.
I hope to be less fuzzy when when the AHI's are lower; I get easily confused.
I was crying but now am happy.
Thank you very much!
