Re: New mask suggestions
I am a side sleeper and have very few issues with my Swift Nasal Pillows. I have tried nasal masks and full face masks and they did not work for me. I toss and turn during the night. I may have to adjust straps on my nasal pillows, but it doesn't interfere with me getting back to sleep. Good luck! K...

Re: Waking up...getting back to sleep question??
Ramp feature allows the machine to start at a lower pressure and "ramp" up to the highest pressure which allows you to get used to having the machine on. I use my ramp feature but have adjusted it up after I was on cpap for about a month. I kept feeling like I couldn't breathe when I first put my ma...

Nasal Pillow question
Hello to all,
Thanks to all who post here. I have learned a lot.
I have the swift fx nasal pillows with headgear. Do other brands of nasal pillows fit this headgear?

Re: Choice for second CPAP unit
Oops - forgot to login before I posted. I have an S9 Autoset with nasal pillows and would like to get a cpap unit to travel with. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

2 week checkup - thanks to all of you
Thanks to all of you for your insight on all the posts on this board. I tend to lurk on message boards, but feel very comfortable posting on this one. I've had my cpap for about 2 weeks and had a follow up with a sleep tech to "suck" the brains out of my machine. Even though I had looked at the data...

Re: Whistling Mask
I had the same issue with my Swift Nasal Pillows. I started with the XS pillows and moved up to the Small. The sleep tech I was working with said that since the pillows were so small, it would make that whistling sound. He asked me if I had adjusted the pillows during the night and I had, but I was ...

New to CPAP - Exhalations are "squeaky"
Hello to all, Had my first night on CPAP last night (actually Auto Pap). I have the RESMED S9 auto pap with the nasal pillows (I think it's the Swift FX with the XS pillows). Last night I noticed at times that when I exhaled, there was a "squeaky" sound in my mask. It sounds like trying to breathe t...
