Re: Higher AHI on heavy dream night...anything odd?
Within a few minutes of my reply I was so bummed out that I thought I would give our buddy Google a try and although these are some older studies and pretty much all I found, the majority show this: "...An increase in nightmare recall would be expected as well in OSA patients experiencing increased ...

Re: Higher AHI on heavy dream night...anything odd?
Actually I did... my non-REM sleep interruptions were 11-12 per hr and each stage of REM was 30 per hr... so I guess that makes sense... ok dumb question... carry on

Re: A few of our favorite things
Napstress, I have only been using xPAP for a very short while and among the few blessed with mild Apnea (I just posted on this a couple minutes ago) but after 5 days of continuous use I had the most awesome dreams. So forgive me for butting in on your post but: My yesterdays favorite thing: lots of ...

Higher AHI on heavy dream night...anything odd?
I posted this question in another post but it was buried in a bunch of my other hoohah jibberish that I was yammering on about sorry ... I am terribly curious if others see this happening? I am watching my AHI's etc on just the S9 display (software is not all setup yet) and they have been staying fa...

<waving> Hi everyone, missed talking out here... I am back from vacation. Great time just relaxing at the beach and enjoying the warm Myrtle Beach sun and breeze. I am on night 8 of 14 with my CPAP (doc won't let me do APAP but it seems fine so I am not pushing it, yet). Yes I know <sigh> night 8 of...

Re: Star date 64827.9 - CPAP Night 1...Questions...
I really am "lucky" or as I like to say blessed in that my apnea is mostly mild (11 after falling asleep then 30 during any REM stage) Really I do believe that may be the reason why it has been so easy the 2 times (the second was last night) I have been on a CPAP. I will try the tape and tongue thin...

Re: New and Desperate...
Wow...great stuff...Thank you all. I received that very well and will keep the CPAP 9 setting that my APAP currently has for a while. By the way, I DID NOT get along well with the DME...actually (and this is not exaggerating) there was a LOT of screaming early on. They told me how it was gonna be fr...

Re: New and Desperate...
So does that mean I don't need the Dr Rx to say I want it set with a range (I am getting an APAP S9 Autoset)?

Re: New and Desperate...
2) I also like to partake o' the fruit o' the vine now and then too (beer, wine and an occasional jack and water), any issues with CPAP and a drink (or 4) once or twice a month? All the more reason to get an Auto and make sure that your top number has some 'room' on it. Maybe I am missing something...

This might be a long post...I apologize ahead of time but there is just so much to say and so many questions... Ha...thats funny on the divorce evidence. You truly may not be far from the truth Archangel. I can see it happening too. I do drive as part of my job (no CDL required) but I have never had...

Thanks Roster, that much I understood for me...and I love that thread...just way re-iterates the need for a fully data capable machine... [...who is going to want or need it, besides me of course?...] So is that mostly what those terms mean? Or is someone going to be following me around and my insur...

Dark Circles...watched them grow...
Good morning all, I have been posting here lately as a newbie (getting my (x)PAP in a couple days) but thought I would start a new topic on this one for the heck of it... I have been dealing with the Apnea (the best I can tell) for about 18 mo to 2 years. Within the last 6 months I LITERALLY watched...
