Re: Phillips Respironics Wisp mask high breakage failure rate

The Wisp comes with two material options for the Wisp Headgear. You can order either 1) Fabric, or 2) Non-Fabric (Plastic) Wisp Headgear. You may want to try the Fabric Headgear with your Wisp. The Fabric Wisp Headgear is the most comfortable and durable headgear I have ever used.

Re: Mask making teeth loose

I just completed a successful gum graft at my lower front teeth because the tooth roots were beginning to be exposed. No gum disease. I attribute it to many many years on a Quattro FFM. Switched to a Respironics Wisp NM. Doubtful I will have anymore lower gum issues. I'am sure there is no research o...

I also use a Standard Hose on both ASV devices. Not a Slim Line. Is the Hose Setting in your device correct?

Re: Resmed Aircurve 10 ASV Noise Levels

I currently own and use (2) ResMed Aircurve 10 ASV's in ASV Mode. One Unit is in California, the other unit I use at my home in SE Asia. I hear no noise from either unit. Very rarely, I will wake up to a noise because the unit is fully cranked-up to tackle a strong event. I do not use a humidifier o...

Re: AirCurve 10 ASV Provider Unlock Sequence

Thank you for the update, Palerider. Took a couple of minutes to set-up the new Aircurve 10 ASV. Time to go to sleep with my new friend.

LOL!! Speaking about patience, what the hell ever happened to Muffy/Not Muffy, Rested Gal, John (The Saint and Ruler over everything ASV, later turned Artist/Painter), and the old crew on the forum?

Re: Could AutoASV machines be used for everyone?

STL Mark is more the exception than the rule. I would respectfuly disagree with that, John. You have always taken an elitist and alarmist view of anyone using or considering the use of an ASV device. STL's experience with the ASV would be more the rule, than the exception. And yes STL, The auto SV ...

Apria won't change it, so Kiralnyx wins with her new Resperonics ASV. And all is well with the world.

Re: Due for a new ASV machine

Why do you say the Resmed is a better ASV? I have used both devices for years. so actually I am an expert on which machine is better if you truly need ASV mode. The Resmed device is superior because its alogrithum more closely mimics your normal breathing pattern. If you are dealing with Apria, you...
