Followup on the fighting with BiPAP breathing
The only setting that I changed was the INSP. The range is .05 to 3.00 seconds. It had been set on 1.7. I tried 3.00 to see what it would be like and it was worse. So I tried it on .05 and it did not "fight" with me. I was surprised because I thought that this setting only had to to with the "pulse'...

Oops
A "frown" came up, I must have used a macro.
I meant that the display doesn't show 1 : 0 0 (push them together like a clock would display) but decimal such as 1.00 S.

History & challenges
Thank you for the history. After years of (childhood) hating history, I now find that I like almost all sorts of history and especially anything even remotely technical. I knew about the first S/T model respirators somehow in my research. Large-ish hospital "non-invasive" respirators, also used in a...

Respironics BiPAP S/T -- Settings
Great set of questions! > Re the Biflex - that only works on Bipap S mode (not S/T) It took weeks for the therapists to figure this out and let me know about it. I guess they're not too familiar with the S/T model. > 1) Are you able to (confident enough to) set your own settings ? Yes. > 2) What IPA...

Respironics BiPAP S/T -- fighting with breathing..
A couple of months ago I started on a Respironics BiPAP S/T. It was great. I needed the "T" mode since I seemed to be having non-obstructive apnea events. And it really helped. At first the beeping woke me up and, after a moment of regaining some clarity, I would eventually hit the silence button, r...

Which version of MyEncore
Yes, that is one of the things that I checked. But thank you for pointing it out anyway. I checked not only the version but with a little help I checked the file checksum, and I installed the correct version. As an update, since I'm here again, I still have not been able to get it to work. I've give...

OpenOffice connection to database tables
Wow, grasshopper! I hadn't seen your post on this site about this. I tried getting a connection using MSAccess. OpenOffice must install the ODBC connection driver automatically, I presume. I don't think MSAccess installs the ODBC drivers unless you selected it during Office install time. You can alw...

Export basic compliance data and import into Excel
Sure. But I'm not clever. I’m just persistent. Actually, I had to edit this post since re-reading your post, I see that you just wanted the basic "compliance" data. To do that, you only need to right-click on a download and select "Export to CSV file", save it somewhere, and then open it using Excel...

No URL to click here....
If you are interested click here.... There wasn't any URL to click. Check the version of MyEncore that you are installing. It should be: File: MyEncore Installer_v15b7.msi Size: 451bytes hash ec861ddb0f87b16db8a5316fd2dcffc7 Goofproof says, "Also check in add remove programs, the size there is .52 ...

Troublemaker? Me?? Re: Encore Pro data discrepancy
I like my Respironics BiPAP hardware but I'm having a little difficulty with their software. First, it seems that they could have more varied reports. I mean, the data is there. I made a little spreadsheet using the exported patient XML data which told me the exact time that I have apnea events. The...

The SQL server is up for sure. Unless you are talking about something else that I don't know about. In the task area, next to your Windows clock, there is an icon. Open it up and it says "SQL Server Service Manager". Is that what you are talking about? Your comment about the dates really confused me...

MyEncore size and checksum
Almost forgot... The install size is only 0.47mb Could that depend on HD bytes per cluster--I'm using NTFS 4096 (the default, I think.) MyEncore folder has 4 files: MyEncore.exe 252kb ZedGraph.dll 232kb MyEncore.ini 1kb License.txt 3kb Folder properties: Size: 486 (498,590 bytes) Size on disk: 492 (...

MyEncore size and checksum
File: MyEncore Installer_v15b7.msi Size: 451bytes hash ec861ddb0f87b16db8a5316fd2dcffc7 ...that's the correct one? Isn't it? (I hope!) I think that the database is good, that is, I can connect using MSAccess/ODBC without a username and password but of course the tables are too difficult for me to fi...
