Re: DreamMapper Quit
I got the app working again.... I went into Settings --> Apps on my Android phone and opened the DreamMapper app.... I noticed that under Permissions, Storage had been turned off. I turned it back on. (This might have happened during the last update of the app). I deleted the Cache for good measure,...

It won't display for me this morning, either. It has happened before.

Re: Having surgery
I have read papers that talk about how cpap usage can raise intraocular eye pressure (during cpap use)... it's possible that this surgery's post op care phase wants to avoid that possibility. Only a more detailed explanation from the surgeon about why he is prohibiting cpap use for 2-3 days will cle...

Re: Has anybody had electrical compatibility issues with travel?
I have stayed in a hotel in Spain where there were no outlets in the bedroom, only in the adjacent bathroom. As a result, I never travel without a 15'/20' extension cord. I've never needed it other than that one hotel, but I am prepared.

Re: Help..nasal congestion no full face mask
Using Flonase or Nasonex regularly can be beneficial, but you have to use them every day/night, not just occasionally. I have congestion issues this time of year due to dryness. What seems to help me: Ayr nasal gel (not spray) a few times a day to keep nostrils moisturized. (I put a pea sized amount...

Re: Body Inflammation seems worse with CPAP use
There are 3 blood tests that come to mind that can indicate possible high inflammation in the body: --uric acid --CRP (C-reactive protein) test (this indicates cardiac/stroke risk but if it's high, inflammation is high) --vitamin D When the numbers come back abnormally high for uric acid and CRP, I ...

Re: need some fast advice on getting first cpap
If you know you are going to have lots of other medical claims and want to pay down your deductible, I can see going through the DME. However, buying direct out of pocket is often the cheaper way to go. Are you locked into the Resmed Airsense 10? The PR System One Series 60 Auto (previous model but ...

Jedimark,
Thanks for all you do and have done... the first priority should always be to take of yourself, and removing negativity is always a good start.

Re: OT: Windows 10 becoming automatic download
I did not understand why you quoted me in your first post. Your original post stated that all went flawlessly with your upgrade to Windows 10, which you had delayed because of 'alarmists.' I replied to your post to provide the additional point of view that there are valid reasons for not upgrading,...

Re: OT: Windows 10 becoming automatic download
It seems like it wasn't obvious to you that I was talking about home use. All you need is one piece of software to not play nice on the new OS and it can cost you THOUSANDS in IT support (assuming the problem can be fixed). If your risk is high, you might want to get advice from someplace besides a...

Re: OT: Windows 10 becoming automatic download
I put off upgrading because alarmists ... The upgrade was flawless and there are a few added features that are nice. I have yet to see anything put out by Microsoft certifying that all software that works on Windows 7 will work equally well on Windows 10 (I'm suspecting they cannot make that assert...

Re: OT: Windows 10 becoming automatic download
Thanks for the heads up Randy... what are you planning to do about this situation. I have disabled automatic update on all of our computers at work. Since I'm not up on Windows 10, I don't know if there are any compatibility issues with software we are currently using with Windows 7. It will be an ...
