Strange new problem: eyes are bleeding!
So, I've been using CPAP without any issues since February, and for the past 2-3 weeks I've noticed that my eyes are beginning to turn very red when I sleep. In fact, they are bleeding! They are not dripping, but they are very red, especially the left one. It's not a leak issue, and I've used both p...

Re: Are your pets interfering with CPAP?
I guess I'm fortunate. I have an 8 year old border collie, Loki, who has been in our bed since we got him at 3 months. He doesn't chew on anything that isn't a toy, and he never interferes with CPAP equipment. He just lies between us and is really a dear dog! He's a sweet border collie, and I am nev...

Re: Nice Went Out the Window
Congrats, Madalot. I'm glad you got through to your doctor. Keep sticking up for yourself, when you're not understood, as if you give in who will take up the fight for your needs and rights?
Best of luck to you!

Re: Nighttime urination with enlarged prostate
For me, before CPAP it was like every 70 minutes, or so, I'd be up peeing, maybe 5-6 times a night. Now it's 2 times a night. I'm also on uroxatral. I'm used now to peeing quite often, so waking only a couple of times a night is a real improvement, and sometimes I wake due to cramps in my toes or so...

Re: Encore Pro 2/Uninstall-install
I've had ALL sorts of problems with installing EP 2.2 and EP 2.4 64-bit version on Windows 7 Home Premium. I got the traditional SQL server failed to installed. So, I uninstalled it and rebooted my computer. Then I tried to reinstall, but I got the same error. So I repeated the uninstall of the soft...

Re: How to make Encore Viewer 2.0 work in 64-bit systems
Well, I got EV 2.0 running on my Windows 7 Home Premium SP1 64-bit computer. I tried to install EP 2.4 64-bit but the SQL server part of the install bombed. Then when I tried to uninstall the SQL Server THAT also bombed, so now I have to reinstall my system from scratch, before I try again. Yes, it ...

Re: Can one adjust one's own CPAP settings?
No way would I change my pressure setting from 12 to 14. I'd try 12.5 or 13 for a week and depending on how I felt and my data THEN I might increase to 13.5 or 14. Some people notice no difference w/a 1 cm change in pressure, others can tell the different w/just a .5 increase in pressure. And ANY c...

Re: Can one adjust one's own CPAP settings?
Thanks, Pugsy As it happens, I have an appointment to see the sleep doctor next Monday morning, so maybe I'll wait to see what he says. There are other factors involved. I don't mind bringing them up here. My apologies in advance, if this constitutes TMI. I'm 53, and though I am on uroxatral I do us...

Can one adjust one's own CPAP settings?
Greetings, I'm relatively new to CPAP. I've been using CPAP for two months now. I like it quite a bit. I've been able to get used to the masks without any difficulty. I am ramping to a pressure of 12. I have an AHI of 3.4. Using the web software announced on this website I still see an occasional ob...
