On a plus side .. I think I figured out the "leak" issue ... I think it is a cold air from the exhalation vent (or whatever it is called) .. not so much leaks .... so after seeing my DME (who said the numbers from my data were great .... ) I popped over to the Dollar Store and bought me a cheap eye...

I have noticed more night being repeatedly woken up with a coughing fit to one degree or another .... and I am not sure what is triggering this. Is there a chance its my pressure? The mask? or humidifier tank issues? I am trying to be good and use the FFM for the rest of the week .... but when I che...

Finally Got My Study Results

I had to wait a bit to get them from the initial study ... but thats partly my fault ... and i don't have a proper doctor until next week .... but anyways ... I hope someone can "translate" some of this for me ... It says I have very severe obstructive sleep apnea (AHI 84, RDI 85, nadir of SpO2 88%)...

Oh ... and I finally got a copy of my study results ... pre & post info ... numbers ... and graphs ....

Oddly enuff ... that trick does work ... but not always .... still a good one ... I am on week 2 with the FFM since I have found when I am tired (almost always) I find I do breathe thru my mouth more than I thought ... so I will try this FFM for a while yet ... .still waiting to wake up refreshed .....

Outer nostril area mainly .... sometimes even the nose (bridge etc) though too ....


And it matter not which mask I think ... but since I just did a week with the FFM I know for sure it was with that .....

I definitely like the results from the nasal mask ..... so I will try it for being my main ....

Wish could help you ..... but I think this is something to approach your doctor with for analysis. Everyone's results are different based on extenuating factors ... so I would say there is no real "normal" but at best maybe a wide-range area for what might pass or fall into a "normal" category.
