Re: Using and type of water in the humidifier
I found water in my supermarket after all. I had to ask an attendant to point it out, but it was there amidst all the spring waters. I think not being able to find things in stores is a sign of sleep apnea. It is the result of sleep deprivation and oxygen desaturation. I do much better since starti...

Anyone else notice a singing voice improvement after CPAP?
I've been using my CPAP 3-4 weeks. Besides feeling more rested and having more clear, consistent energy during the day, one interesting benefit I've noticed since using my CPAP is an overall improvement in my singing voice. I'm no pro. My singing occurs mostly in the car, shower or church. But I hav...

Where does one buy distilled water? I can't find it in Stop & Shop. Only purified, filtered, spring waters.

Being a newbie here, this kind of nonsense is not very encouraging to see.

Re: Can one add equipment to the selection list in Profile?
Thanks. That's what I did. Just wondering if there was a more direct way to enter it.
How do the lists get updated with new products/equipment?

Can one add equipment to the selection list in Profile?
I use a REMstar Auto A-Flex unit. But was only given the selection of the REMstar AutoC-Flex in the pull down menu in Profile. Is there a way to add my equipment?

Using and type of water in the humidifier
When I picked up my unit the consultant at Apria told me that I should use distilled water, but can also boil tap water and use that as well if I don't have distilled. Is that true? Boiling removes all of the minerals, etc. from water? Also how do you all manage the humidifier when you travel and ma...

Wow! I'm blown away by the response and support here. 2 good replies in less than 20 minutes. Thank you. Looking forward to participating in this forum. I must say that overall I'm very excited about my CPAP. During the sleep study, I took to it very well once the tech fitted me with the right mask....

Tell tale signs of Mouth Breathing?
Newbie user, first time poster here... I was recently diagnosed with sleep apnea and have been using my adjustable CPAP for a week now. Feel some more energy in the morning than pre-CPAP, and feeling generally less resentful that I have to get up in the morning. I feel like I can make it through the...
