Re: low carb diet?
My doctor told me recently that she loves cheese but that it really wasnt very healthy for you. I personally eat turkey bacon (cheap generic brand) I love it. My two kids 7 and 11 have eaten turkey bacon all their lives and they love it. It tastes better though microwaved on a plate for about 2 minu...

Re: Overwhelmed!!
When I had my sleep study done they asked if I wanted anything to help me get to sleep. But you have a cut off time that if you go past you can no longer be given the medicine. Of course they may not give you anything depending on health problems or other meds.

cleaning machine
I cleaned my new machine nose piece and hoses weekly as recommended by my RT. I washed it early this a.m. and left it hanging all day to drip dry. It has been 10 hours and I see little tiny water drops all through the hose. Will it damage the machine to hook it up tonight and use it? I go to bed in ...

Re: SD CARD
Sorry I have a Resmed S9 Series. I will change that on my profile in a few minutes. I was looking at the choices and didnt have the right one highlighted on the computer when I hit enter. THanks for noticing I'll blame it on sleep apnea

Re: Removing Mask
I set my climate control at 70 because I like warm not cold on everything. My AHI was up to 5.4 last night which is the most it has ever been it usually ranges from 1.9 to 3. something at the most. Re: Removing Mask
I am going to try a few of the ideas tonight. Thanks for the tips. I am way past my bedtime - I have to get up at 6:15 Kentucky Time. I dont get much sleep because I have always had trouble going to sleep and staying asleep. I also wake up around 1 or 3 a.m. and stay awake for about 2 hours so I am ...

Re: Removing Mask
Maybe I should try taping my hands together :}
I will try moving it further from the bed. By the way My AHI went from 3.5 to 2.0 in a couple of days but then again I am not able to use it all night yet......

Re: Removing Mask
When I wake up in the morning my mask and hose are laid neatly on top of the machine which is on the floor by my bed so I dont hear the air flow and also I am turning the machine off in my sleep. I am working right now on trying to figure out how to add my machine info as we text.

Re: Swift FX for Her Leaks
My respiratory therapist said that my leaks were possibly trying to sleep on my side. He said that it is very soft and flexible and that when I lay the side of my head on the pillow it pushes it or flattens it enough to maybe cause leaks. I love the Swift for her because it is small, doesnt get in t...

Removing Mask
Has anyone dealt with this problem? I have a Swift Lite for her and a Swift FX both nasal masks. Anyway, I have started pulling it off in my sleep in the middle of the night. I even go so far as to turn the machine off as well. I have had some sinus drainage so hopefully I'll be able to leave it on ...

Thanks guys. I am new and have a hard time maneuvering around community boards and tech terms. I dont have my equipment, etc posted because I havent figured out how to do that yet even though one of the thoughtful people here told me how - still havent been bright enough to figure it out yet. But th...

I know I am going to make a lot of you mad but here goes. Why is it that when I post a question I get very little response. At first I thought I was just imagining it but earlier today I asked a question about Swift Lite vs. Swift FX got 2 answers. A few minutes ago I logged in and another person as...
