Re: No responses
bprater: If you're still here, maybe it's time to eat a little humble pie and admit that your comments about "no response" were rash and a little inappropriate. As others have already indicated, you did get replies that were meant to be helpful, but you didn't reply with the requested information so...

Re: New and confused
You've had your machine for 2 more days than I've had mine, but I guess I'm one of the lucky ones. I've been able to keep my mask on for an average of 6.6 hours through my 17 days of use. I was fortunate enough to find a mask that was comfortable for me right from the start, and, from what the "oldt...

That's very generous of you. As you can see, I don't have that machine, but those who do should be grateful to you.

Either you haven't registered, or you forgot to log in. If it's the former, register and list your equipment so people know more about how to help you.

Re: Going on 4th week..........HELP!!!
In order for people to help you, details are needed. What type of equipment do you have (machine and mask), what are you experiencing. etc.? I've only been here for 2 weeks, but have found lots of useful info, but you need to give people something to go on.

Re: I believe I am addicted.........
I've only just completed 2 weeks, but I've already bought a battery and charger. Based on what I've experienced so far, I never want to be without my APAP again.

Re: OT: Borders Books
Kira,
I'm really sorry for your loss. I truly hope the stress of this situation doesn't set you back healthwise. I also hope that, after you've allowed yourself to mourn, you are able to move forward with a meaningful, satisfying job that uses your talents well.

Baby Jonah is adorable, and absolutely right! I'm also very sorry you lost Andrew. Knowing what it's been like for some of the women in my family, I would not wish that pain on anyone.

...all of the above, plus make sure the place where the hose comes out of your machine is lower than your head.

Re: AHI 8.4
I'm a newbie, but this question I can answer. It means that, on average, you are having 8.4 apneas/hypopneas per hour. For treatment to be considered truly effective, you want it to be below 5. My 11 day average is 2.5, and I already notice a little difference in how I feel.
