Re: Dealing with allergy season
Are you taking anything for your allergies? It is miserable to be sneezing, coughing, runny nose, etc. even without cpap. There are several over the counter meds that were prescription that work pretty good. My choice is Zyrtec, others like Clariton or Allegra. Good luck in getting them under contr...

Dealing with allergy season
This is my first allergy season with CPAP. Are there any tricks to help make the mask more bearable with a runny nose and sneezing?

Re: Hpw long before CPAP made you feel better?
Does your crummy feeling during the day feel like a hangover, extreme tiredness, or the zombie-like state most of us endured before treatment? Is the quality of terrible feeling changed at all since starting treatment... do you feel awful in a different way? Extreme tiredness and a zombie-like stat...

Re: Hpw long before CPAP made you feel better?
Do you have the software so that you can at least see if the therapy is doing what it should be, at least on paper? Eliminate one variable at least? If leaking or still having lots of events, then we can't even begin to expect improvement. Though, to be honest, I think part of the problem is the me...

Re: Hpw long before CPAP made you feel better?
Without both meds I haven't been able to sleep with the mask at all. I've tried a couple of masks but I just can't get comfortable with them on and will be up all night. I've been getting about 6 hours sleep a night, after that the meds seem to wear off and I wake up and can't fall back asleep. Six ...

newbie needs advice on getting used to cpap
Hi, I recently got a CPAP and I can't figure out how to sleep with it at all. In the sleep study it took me over 4 hours to fall asleep and it was on my side so they only had time to calibrate me on my side and not on my back. I originally got a Quattro FX mask (I need a full face mask because I'm a...
