That's what I get for getting so cocky!

So, I've been on CPAP for about 2 months and was telling my husband how well I was doing and that I could tell I was starting to feel better, and then it happened. Last night I couldn't get comfortable....the straps were bothering me.....the mask kept leaking......then I ended up pulling the connect...

Re: Leaking Zest mask

Thanks everyone. I've actually tried all those things and wash it once a day. I talked them into letting "borrow" a mask. Of course if I like it, they aren't sure that I can actually change, lol. Apparently the inside spongy design has been changed. The new indentations at the top are my problem. Th...

Leaking Zest mask

I have been on CPAP for 2 weeks tonight. The good news is that I tried to sleep without my mask last night, because of all my leaking problems, and couldn't. Re: Seeking advice from single CPAP users.

I've been married a whole 3 months and just got my CPAP last week. I only got it because he requested I do something about the sleep apnea, because he doesn't want to lose me. I put it on in the dark and take it off in the morning when I wake up before he sees it. He has been great about it, but I'l...

Re: Sore tongue

Thank you for your reply. I'm actually pushing it up against the roof of my mouth and it's going between my teeth on both sides and getting rubbed raw. If my parents had sprung for me some braces they'd probably meet better and this wouldn't happen, lol. I figured out last night that was what was ca...

Sore tongue

I was diagnosed with sleep apnea over 2 years ago, but was in denial and just started on CPAP a week ago. I recently got married and my husband insisted I do something as I was scaring him to death every night. Yes....i am a newlywed with a mask! it is very sexy, lol. I've been reading the forums li...
