Not really because no one didn't answer my question. One told me who is "they" of course it's my DME's and you said that DME's have different equipment. How is that an answer??

I'm getting a new APAP machine and they have given me the choice of either a Resmed Airsense 10 Autoset or a Phillips Respronics System One APAP. Which is better?

Problem with APAP
Everyone, I'm having an issue with my APAP machine when it's in A-Flex mode or at least I think it's a problem. When my APAP is running the air pressure coming out speeds up and then slows down like every 5-8 seconds when my mask isn't on me. Is this normal? When I switch to CPAP mode it doesn't do ...

AHI
How do you know if your AHI is a good number and therapy is working. Mine start from 1.5 to 3.8 depending on the night.

Re: Dizzy
Yes I know the popping your referring to. I'm just paranoid and I'm trying to blame my dizziness on my APAP but stopping it not an option. Maybe between congestion and anxiety may be the cause of all my worries

Re: Dizzy
My BP is around 148/93 on average and sometime higher so I don't think it's my BP. Maybe it's my inner ear and congestion problems.

Re: Dizzy
Thanks for the reply Julie. I only wish my BP was low it's usually high from my checks. I forgot to mention that I do have sinus issues and at least I'm half way plug every night before going to bed so I have to do sinus flushes.

Dizzy
I've been back on my APAP for 2 months now and I find that I'm dizzy everyday (of course I suffer anxiety as well). Is this a common problem with being on APAP? My AHI have been 3 or lower every night. Also, is it possible for APAP to increase your blood pressure? Thanks everyone.

Re: Sore Throat
I've tried the Full Face Mask but they are so uncomfortable. UGH. If I sleep with my mouth open wouldn't my leakage be high in my data report? Just asking bc I'm new to this stuff.

Sore Throat
I've started back up my APAP with a pressure between 9 -12 with nasal pillows. I've noticed that my throat has been very sore in the morning and pretty much all day. I have tried increasing the humidity from 3 to 4 but it didn't help at all. Any ideas on what might be causing the sore throat. Thanks...
