Cleaning the H5i resevior
Did a search on the site an didn't see anything like this so I thought I'd share. I have a ResMed S9 with the H5i humidifier. The bottom of the humidifier had developed a scunge of some kind and I needed a way to clean it, so I used a trick I learned to clean coffee pots several years ago: I dumped ...

Questions about leak
Hello all - question concerning leak rate. I know that less leak is desirable, but how much is too much? For example, last night my numbers were 6.2 hours on the machine, with an AHI of 0.6 and a green smiley for my mask fit which seems good, but the leak was 15.6L/min, which seems like a lot. I've ...

Re: First Night on CPAP Ruined by Panic Attack
Second night was much better. I wore the mask with my machine at pressure for about 30 mins then actually dozed dozed off for about an hour. Re: SD Card - Does it need to be replaced?

The good news is they're a standard format so you shouldn't have to buy a replacement from the manufacturer; any card from your local computer shop should do. I would check with the MFR to...

Re: First Night on CPAP Ruined by Panic Attack
If this was your first ever panic attack, you must have felt really scared on top of all the other symptoms. It was. Not an experience I care to repeat. I think part of my problem is I set my expectations too high. I really wanted to be one of those "one night wonders" who slip into CPAP therapy ea...

First Night on CPAP Ruined by Panic Attack
Hello all Last night was my first night at home with a CPAP. I only had it on for maybe 5 mins when I experienced a full-blown panic attack; heart racing, hands shaking, sudden cold sweat - the whole deal. Needless to say I did not attempt it again. Today I found this forum and did some searching in...
