Help with my resmed s9 elite with humidifier & heated tube.

Hi, I have just purchased the elite model with humidifier. I previously used the s9 auto pap that I was renting. I found the first couple of nights the humidifier wasn't heating up (I also use the heated tube). With the previous rental ( auto pap) I set the heat to 6 and I would just start using it ...

Anyone want to swap nasal pillow sizes?

hi all I just bought a brand new Resmed Swift fx nasal pillow. I only use M (medium) size so I have brand new in sealed packets a size small and size large. So if anyone has a new medium that they don't use, maybe we can do a swap.

Re: Depressed newbie saying hi

Hi Aprilmom07 and welcome. I felt pretty weird about taking one of these machines home too, but I can honestly tell you that although it has only been 4 or so weeks for me, I only wish I had done it years ago. I actually now look forward to going to sleep at night. With family and friends, I actuall...

Re: New User - Which Machine

Thanks to all. I feel more confident about living with the machine knowing that there is a community like this to get help from when I need it. I have started to play with the software Resscan 3.13. Seems to work good but have no idea how to interprete the results. Is there a site that allows one to...

Re: New User - Which Machine

Thanks Slinky for your promp reply. Yes you are right APAP in auto mode was set to 6cm as min. Currently in CPAP mode. When I first used it I had trouble exhaling so I set the EPR to 2 and it made a huge difference. What they are saying to me is that in APAP Auto I was still having average 2-3 apnea...

New User - Which Machine

Hi to all from Western Australia. I have been using loan machines from the sleep clinic for almost a month and now need to decide which model to buy. I have tried the Philips Respironics and am currently using one of the Resmed S9 in cpap mode. I am leaning towards the S9 as I like the way the air f...
