Re: Have your cognitive powers improved with CPAP?
Not in my case, unfortunately. Over 2 separate trials of pap therapy: several areas of noticeable/measurable decrease in function and no noticeable areas of improvement. Well, except for the data gathered by the machine, but that's moot when one's well-being takes a nosedive. But I wasn't suffering ...

4 Sale: Swift LT mask & nasal pillows (S, M)
Equipment's been in a drawer for a while...just sold the machine and the buyer did not need these: 1 swift lt for her mask with headgear (pillows not included), used and in very good condition 3 small nasal pillows, unused 1 medium nasal pillows, lightly used and well cleaned PM me with your best of...

Re: Selling used pap equipment?
Thanks for the info. That's a little lower than what a reseller offered me...roughly in the ballpark, though. Since the chances of finding a same-city buyer are quite slim, I'll probably use local venues first. If anyone's interested, he/she can PM me, and if I haven't sold it in a week or so, will ...

Re: Selling used pap equipment?
I'll list the machine here now, though I'm hoping to find a local, cash buyer and avoid payment, shipping, and insurance factors.
resmed apap - s8 autoset II
There's the standard accoutrements and some extra stuff. I went into the menu and it listed "Run Hours: 526"

Re: Selling used pap equipment?
I've already checked those sites; my model isn't listed. I have an offer from 2nd wind, and expect to be able to sell it privately for at least that much. It's a good, clean machine, with low hours, and the pressure's been tested by a local DME. The point about credibility is valid, this is why I be...

Re: Selling used pap equipment?
I don't have that much, but I'm having trouble figuring out "the going rate" with the sources I knew about no longer in play. Time to polish off my google-fu...

Selling used pap equipment?
Is offering used pap equipment for sale still okay here? I know about second wind and craigslist, think I heard ebay doesn't allow. Any other places for this? I've been trying to determine a fair price to ask, but am not finding many places selling pap equipment...I wonder why that is; sure can't be...

Re: Erase ALL data on smart card--Possible?
I'm pretty sure the machine doesn't know my name, address, etc. Not unless rescan can write it there via the card--which I think is highly doubtful. As I mentioned, any info that doesn't identify me: couldn't care less.

Re: I fell sleepy almost everyday, despite good AHI.
They discuss the issue of fully compliant cpap users that feel worse after CPAP despite good AHI The expert suggests that this is often due to patients using full face masks instead of nasal masks, people who are mouth breathers or people using inappropriate CPAP pressures (usually too high apparen...

Re: Erase ALL data on smart card--Possible?
Mind telling us what you're trying to do, if it's not too secret? The machine it goes with hasn't been used for some time now. Thinking of selling the whole shebang so someone can get good use from it. It's a lovely little device, just didn't seem to help for some unknown reason. Yes, it's an S8. A...

Re: Erase ALL data on smart card--Possible?
Note: the reader I have is not proprietary to resmed. And while the card may be, it's mine and I want to clear off any and all information that may be stored on it at this time. I'm actually not asking about use locations. Is there any identifying or personal information on the cards that are used t...

Re: Erase ALL data on smart card--Possible?
Well, I'd definitely like to keep the card functional, but I want to remove all information on it.
Maybe I should also ask, is there any identifying or personal information on the card? Usage hours/time and that sort of thing is not a concern.

Erase ALL data on smart card--Possible?
I'd like to know how to completely erase all information on a smart card from a resmed s8 autoset ii, assuming it can be done.
