Do I have to see a dr to buy cpap equipment? I am in desperate need of filters, tubing and a mask. Where can I go to get them? I just want to give my health insurance and buy them plain and simple. What is the easiest way to do this?
Thanks

Re: S9 ResMed making howling noise...never used to
I don't use the humidifier, the hose is plugged straight into the main case. It's only on inhale do I notice the whistling/howling. If I take off my mask and let the air blow you can hear it constantly.
I don't know what else to check.

Re: S9 ResMed making howling noise...never used to
Well I guess it could be a whistling noise.
Is that common for the machine to get that after years of use?

S9 ResMed making howling noise...never used to
I noticed that mine cpap machine is now making a howling noise. Sounds as if wind blowing through the window at night. What could be causing this? I've replaced the grey dust filter on the outside of the machine. I have knocked it off the night table a couple of times. Hope I didn't damage anything ...

How should I clean my equipment? Should I clean my mask and hose by soaking them in vinegar and water? What should I do?
Thanks!

Re: Are my stats ok? Seeing the therapist tomorrow
That sounds good. How can I go about doing this?Best thing would be to evaluate your recent usage individually in regards to amount of leak instead of trying to look at a years worth of summary data.

Masks for people with a large face
Hello all. I wanted to know what masks are out there for people with a bigger face? I use the forma extra large full face mask.
Can anyone recommend any other ones? Also what is a good way to avoid leaks?
Thanks!

Re: Stats 6 months in...still waking up tired...any thoughts?
It seems that I have the masks straps on pretty tight. When I am going to sleep I can feel the masking leaking when I am breathing out. Is there other large masks like the forma full face mask? I don't mind trying a new mask but I have to get the leaks under control. Maybe I should tighten the strap...

Re: Stats 6 months in...still waking up tired...any thoughts?
I'd like to know how to get my leaks under control. I think that is why I am taking off my mask. I don't even realize I am taking it off. I just wake up and it's off.
What do you guys recommend for controlling leaks? Thanks for the help. I appreciate it.

Stats 6 months in...still waking up tired...any thoughts?

I think I am having leaks (posted earlier in this forum) but I wanted to see how I was doing 6 months into cpap and was hoping someone could tell me by looking at the data. I am a 3rd shift worker and normally get to sleep around 10 or 11am to 6pm at night. Here a...
