Re: Cannot solve daytime sleepyness
jwerley, I'm going on at least 10 months trying to figure out what is causing my excessive daytime sleepiness and how to fix it. Currently my doc is convinced that it is apnea related and I must have higher pressures set on my machine. He also said that I should use a FF mask because my pressures we...

Re: Mirage Quattro
Oops, I have the FX, it doesn't have the forehead part, so not the same mask. Sorry.

Re: Mirage Quattro
I got the liner and anti leak strap and I'm still fighting this beast. My problem is the sucker creeps up on my face while I sleep. I've woken up twice now with my mouth hanging out of the bottom. Nothing I can see to help that. The liner does help with the leaks though. I love it!!

Re: Quattro FX Mask
Well, I tried it again last night and I got a good fit, no leaks...until I turned on my side and then it was leaking like crazy, especially at the nose. If I slept on my back, it would be no problem, but I don't. I really want to like this mask. My question now, it seems I'll need at least the mask ...

Re: Quattro FX Mask
Thanks, that looks like it will work. I'll give it a try and maybe order a mask liner.

Quattro FX Mask
I got this mask yesterday and it's the first FF mask I've ever tried. It was suggested because my pressures are so high and I'm breathing through my mouth at night. Before this mask I was taping and I don't like doing that. My question is, those that wear this mask, do you follow the manufacturer's ...

Re: Sleepyhead data - please help
I know the Neurontin makes me sleepy. That's why I only take it twice a day and not 3 times like my doc would rather me take it. I think Effexor can make you sleepy but I've been on that for so long that if it does, I don't feel it. I did try switched it to night and didn't like how that made me feel.

Re: Sleepyhead data - please help
I don't feel rested but better than I did when my pressure was set at 14/8. This night was about the 4th night with the new pressures of 18/14. I didn't wake up this night that I remember or if I did, it was very very briefly to roll over. I don't sleep on my back, only my side or kind of my half si...

Sleepyhead data - please help
I thought I would put up the latest of my Sleepyhead data in hopes that one of you could help me to figure it out, recognize what I need to be aware of, and steps that I can take to get a better night's sleep. This night I was still using my old mask that was not a FF mask but I did tape up. If you ...

Re: Special Pillows
The "cloud pillow" has those tiny beads in it right? Do both the buckwheat and cloud pillows hold up over time? I had one of the original Contour pillows many years ago and it went "flat" in less than a year. It could have been less time than that but it was so long ago I don't remember exactly how ...

Special Pillows
Do you use a special pillow when you sleep, like the Double Edge PAPillow or the Multi-mask Sleep Aid CPAP Pillow ? Do you find that having a special pillow improves your sleep? (less leaks or whatever to get better numbers) I'm just starting on this journey to improve my sleep by learning all this ...

Re: Swallowing so much air and waking up
Thanks for the replies. Sorry for the delay in writing back. I went out of town for the weekend, Yay! I think I'm going to leave my pressures alone for now. I'm not waking up like I was. If I tape, I don't wake at all. If I forget, I do wake a little and I will roll a little so that I'm on my stomac...
