Re: ResMed AirSense 10 AutoSet CPAP Machine VS Respironics System One 50 Series
Hi All,
I'm sorry that I was not able to use the Sleepyhead software to import the data from the SD card. It stays at 99% and never completes. Tried so many times, restarted computer, but no luck. I wonder if there is an alternative software existing. Please help. Thanks.

Re: ResMed AirSense 10 AutoSet CPAP Machine VS Respironics System One 50 Series
Thank you, Cpapian! You know what? When I tried to take out the memory card from the machine this morning, I saw both of the slots were empty! I don't remember I took it out. The only incident is that I brought it with me to visit the sleep clinic at my health service provider back in April. I just ...

ResMed AirSense 10 AutoSet CPAP Machine VS Respironics System One 50 Series
I switched from the System One 50 Series to the ResMed AirSense 10 machine last March due to the humidifier breakdown. Re: Is the humidifier heating?
Good catch! The machine did come with a slim hose but it's tough and thin, so I gave it up after the 1st night and chose to still use my old stuff, the regular hose that I've been using for 7 years.

Re: Is the humidifier heating?
Thank you, and always thank you, Pugsy, for the prompt and thorough guidance! You're an expert, better than my therapist. I called them yesterday and told them the story, asking if I could return the machine and just got a replacement for the humidifier of the old one. But I was told there was no wa...

Re: Is the humidifier heating?
Hi RicaLynn,
Thank you for the input! Yes. You're right. The power connection to the machine sometimes does the trick, especially the Respironics System One 50 Series. AirSense 10 is much better.

Re: Is the humidifier heating?
Hi Pugsy, You know what? I turned off the RAMP setting and it worked! No more suffocating! I had a very good sleep last night. I also checked the EPR setting and found the following result. EPR: On APR Type: Full Time EPR Level: 3 For testing purpose, I just turned off the RAMP function and didn't t...

Sure. I'll check tonight and let you know. The Flex setting at the 50 series is 3. The Ramp setting at the new machines is "ON".

Re: Is the humidifier heating?
Thank you so much, Pugsy! You seem to help all the time here. Yes. I did go to the clinical settings and found all the settings are set at "ON" except the Flight Mode. But I have to make sure about the EPR setting which seems new to me. Actually I tried to change the pressure setting from 8-20 to 9-...

Re: Is the humidifier heating?
Day 6 with the new machine, suffering! I talked to my health service provider on 3/14 and was told to try the humidifier setting to a higher level and see what would happen, then they'd decide if I needed a heated hose. They said the machine did have a heating function. The adjustment of the humidif...

Re: Is the humidifier heating?
Thank you so much for the suggestions, Pugsy!
I'll contact my health service provider and try to get the heated hose ASAP. Meanwhile, I'll definitely try the humidity setting and tubing cover as well. Really appreciated your input.
