Snork 1 I have the same thoughts about the N-395 but it works and I don't have to borrow the scuzzy unit from the DME. As far as the alarm problem I was going to disable the speaker but instead I downloaded the service manual for the N-395 from Nellcor. It tells you how to disable alarms on page 4-7...

Hello Group
Does anybody have the new SPO 7500 pulse oximeter ?
If so how do you like it?
Should I sell my N-395?
Thanks

Just an idea . I complained to my sleep doc about the same problem. She told me to stay away from caffeine because it causes the valves that Lori was talking about to stay open. I stopped drinking caffeine coffee and it seems to be better. I still have a pepsi now and than and I can sure tell the di...

My sleep techs told me at my titration sleep study that if I got tested every night for a week the pressure would be different every night. That was enough reason for me to get an APAP. I just received one 4 days ago from cpap.com and so far I think it was worth the extra money. Also if you change m...

You can do what I did. It took me a week to convince my insurance to reimburse me for the purchase of a apap from cpap.com . I showed them how much money they would save. My situation is probably different then yours. There is only one dme in the town I live in and they were not on my ppo list. So t...

Goofproof Did you get your remstar auto from lincare? I have been renting a pro2 for two months from them so it is time to purchase. I asked my sleep doc for a prescription for an auto remstar and she sent them the script. So I called lincare to purchase it and they told me it is only for titrating ...

I had the same problem. I applied silicone grease ( just a thin film) to the rim of the humidifier bottom plate where it contacts the plastic case. I haven't had a leak since. I used to take it apart everyday. Now I just rinse it in warm soapy water. About every 7 days I take it apart and clean it. ...
