aerophagia and diverticulosis
I was hospitalized last summer with diverticulitis. I stayed in a week and responded to the anti biotics and avoided the necessity of surgery. I had stopped using my CPAP for the few days prior to my hospitalization because I was deathly sick. I tried to resume CPAP when I got back home. Aerophagia ...

Re: Does CPAP give gases?
I saw my Sleep physician for my 3 month follow up yesterday. It had actually been 5 months, but I missed the first appt. Aerophagia was my primary topic with him. I had a bout of severe diverticulitis and complications in June and upon release from the hospital after a week there and w/o any BIPAP I...

Re: CPAP SetBack
An update: I tried to get back into the program two nights ago and managed about 3 hrs...got up earlier than normal and although I had the dreaded bloat, it was seemingly benign and things seemed to be moving normally. Last night I tried again and gave it up after about an hour?...My digestive syste...

CPAP SetBack
I took to the hose like a duck to water. Got my BiPap machine in early March of this year and used it faithfully till the night of June 23rd. I just couldn't hack it for the first time. I took it off and it stayed off till I got back from the hospital on July 2nd. Seems I had suffered an abscess on...

Re: OT- Casey Anthony Trial in FL
I watched most of the trial on tv, and several comment based opinion programs and had formed an opinion of guilt. In his post trial statement, Defense Atty: Jose Baez sounded stunned and almost apologetic that the obviously guilty of something relating directly to the demise of her daughter, Casey, ...

Re: Upgrading from S8 to S9!
Torontoguy, I too have suffered with a-fib, and have for about the last 5 yrs (that I'm aware of)...and went in two yrs ago for a catheter ablation procedure...it didn't seem to help at all....my CHAD score was zero...meaning that I have no obvious contributing conditions that might cause the irregu...

Re: Bridge of nose bruised
This nose problem and aerophagia are about the only negatives I've experienced with CPAP. I had some bandages on hand that I've been cutting down and using at the bridge of my nose, as well as having made some with some gauze pads and some fabric tape....but I don't use a nose protector every night....

Re: A-Fib response to Sleep Therapy
Thanks for the responses and sorry I wasn't able to get with it on real time...I had to work today......or should I say that I was privileged to have a job to go to and perform today? My A-Fib is not due to any obvious health indicators...that's one reason I'm hoping that one benefit to recuperative...

Re: Not needing as much caffeine. Yea
It was the title to the thread about caffeine that brought me here...I've been using the same machine as y'all two novices for going on three months...only recently have been dozing in my chair on my two days off in the afternoons...could be the increase in heat from the onset of summer here in FL a...
