Re: Well well well...the PR APAP worked
Im not buying anymore gear from cpap.com I really don't know, but it's entirely possible, at least in my mind, that cpap.com might consider that a blessing. Suppose, for a moment, that they preferred NOT to have you as their customer. Wouldn't the thing to do be to buy one of everything they sell? ...

Re: Anybody know of a good non Resmed FFM?
I wonder how much it costs Resmed to manufacture an S9 APAP?
$50 maybe? Then they sell it to you for $853 and it is shoddy made.

Anybody know of a good non Resmed FFM?
I have had good success with the Resmed Mirage Quattro FFM. Resmed makes good masks (up to now at least, whether that will remain is another story based upon their current machines). However, I am totally disgusted with the company of Resmed based upon the following: 1) Their current era APAPs absol...

Re: Well well well...the PR APAP worked
A self moderated forum? You gotta be kidding, well hell if thats the case I will start deleting half the posts on here I see because this forum is filled with bs. I will take this forum over and straighten it out. I did that once with another forum a long time ago. Heh. I guess you'll be in charge,...

Re: Well well well...the PR APAP worked
It is a self-moderated forum. There is no record that we can see saying who removed it. I have no idea who removed it. Maybe they will speak up and explain why they removed it, unless their reason was less than admirable. In that case, I would not expect an answer to your question. A self moderated...

Re: Well well well...the PR APAP worked
Can you believe CPAP.com or whomever moderates this place deleted the original post that started this string of posts? I find it completely implausible that cpap.com had ANYTHING to do with the removal of that post. May I ask why it was deleted? It was a positive post. Sure, you can ask. I just don...

Re: Well well well...the PR APAP worked
Here it is: Woke up this morning feeling like a human being for the first time in since mid December. What was really strange is how when I was laying in bed last night with the PR blowing, I could feel my chest wall muscles hurting in a good way, like they are toning up or being supported is the o...

Re: Well well well...the PR APAP worked
EricinNC, I'm glad you finally simply decided to sleep with the PR System One. I'm glad you slept better with the System One than the S9. Please keep sleeping with the System One and don't look back at the S9 . Hope you start much better real soon. Can you believe CPAP.com or whomever moderates thi...

Re: Using demineralised water in humidifier
Every once in a rare while, when I am lazy and forget to buy some distilled water I will boil some water from the house (have well water, not chlorinated) and let it cool and use the boiled well water. Boiling the water concentrates the mineral content. You are going in the wrong direction. You guy...

Re: CPAP VS. APAP and Insurance
I read somewhere on a thread that insurance will not cover an APAP? Does it matter if that's what the doctor prescribes specifically, and a specific brand of APAP after CPAP has failed? And what if it's after the 30-day "return" period? Ive had two doctors prescribe me AutoPaps. All you have to do ...

Re: Using demineralised water in humidifier
For the past several months I have being using demineralised water, purchased from the supermarket in my humidifier with no apparant ill effects, and a humidifier tank that remains clean with no build up of any visible deposits. However, the label for the prodect includes the warning that it is not...

Re: Does more pressure help with stuffy nose?
This morning I woke up with labored breathing due to a stuffy nose. With some salt water nasal spray, after a half hour or so my nose was clear again. I know that one should attack nasal stoppage or stuffiness directly, with sprays and humidifier, and possibly consider a full-face mask, but my ques...
