Re: Pillow Recommendations
I use a dense latex pillow. It provides support without your head sinking in to it and thus pushing the mask off your face. I paid $20 from CostCo.

Re: Hypersomnolence and my sleep apnea
My thoughts are with such a high pressure, I have to wonder if you're getting mouth leakage with your nasal mask. I know you say you believe you don't, but it's easy to not notice or realise you're mouth is farting at night.
Try getting a loan of a FF mask: you've got nothing to lose.

Re: sleep test with bad allergy symptoms?
As long as you're able to sustain at least an hour of continuous sleep it should be enough for the study.

Re: Is there a CPAP Honeymoon Syndrome??
I've been going the honeymoon too and for me, as suggested above, I think the problem is with the mask no longer sealing properly. When my mask leaks, it blows on my eyes and disturbs my sleep. I think my problem is from dieting, exercise and CPAP therapy, so I've lost weight, so my face isn't as pu...

Re: Getting major leaks with Quattro FX.
I had the same problem when I got my FX. The solution for me was to get a larger-sized headgear: this allowed the mask to sit properly on my nose and not ride up.

Re: Air rushes suddenly into my mouth
Sounds like your pressure is going up to high and you're getting mouth-leaking.
You might need a chin strap etc, or a full-face mask.

You need the ResScan software from ResMed, and an SD card reader of some description.

Re: Removing Mask
Try turning ramp and EPR off (EPR is how much of a pressure drop on exhalation): veterans of CPAP prefer to have these features off.

Re: leaks when supine: might pad-a-cheek liner help?
I've just got my pad-a-cheek liner and I'm finding it's not an improvement for the FX as it was for the Mirage. I'm going to give it one more night after giving it some tweaks. I think the liner needs some design improvements though. But for me I find the FX is more likely to leak when I'm on my sid...

Re: Removing Mask
Check to make sure your mask isn't leaking: the leaking could be blowing into your eyes etc, annoying you and you're ripping the mask off. Also tweak your climate settings and see if it helps your sinus issues - your nose might be getting blocked, so you struggle to breath and rip your mask off. Las...

Re: 26-year Old Man Dies During Sleep Study
My gut feeling in this instance is the man in question suffered from schizophrenia and/or a really bad case of sleep walking. I guess he had some form of freakout having all the sensors etc on him.

Re: Could food Sensativities be causing my fatigue?
As someone who is now on a low FODMAP diet after many many years trying to find out the cause of my digestive issues, I've done lots of research. Yes a food intolerance can cause chronic fatigue, "brain fog", low motivation, etc. But they're not common, so I wouldn't go off half-cocked and start cut...
