Re: ResMed S9 with a battery?
It is a bi-directional line, the CPAP sends out a quarry, then has quiet time listening for a reply. Anyone can hook a scope lead to the line and see the communication at start up. It is easy to see if you have the CPAP hooked to a non approved supply because after start up the CPAP shuts down and c...

Re: ResMed S9 with a battery?
The third pin is NOT a static line but rather a DATA line and of course it can identify the supply. It transfers a DIGITAL ID to the CPAP so this could also identify the type. My information was validated with a scope before I posted FACTS. Before you slam someone, you should at least know what you ...

Re: ResMed S9 with a battery?
The third pin (white wire) is to send a digital message to a chip in the CPAP. The chip in the CPAP identifies the message being sent from the inverter to validate that it is in fact a Res Med sanctioned power supply....So...unless you have a reader to capture the digital message and install it into...

You can even get an extra battery and hook them together for additional runtime. I use one battery which usually lasts all night at my pressure and recharge it from my car...

Re: ResMed S9 with a battery?
I have only used the Vagabond Mini for one night at a time and the battery gauge indicated ~ 1/2 left. The unit comes with the ability to swap batteries, and I have an extra battery if I need an additional night. The battery holds it's charge much longer than a lead acid battery as well. Also, you c...

Re: ResMed S9 with a battery?
Below is a link from Paul C. Buff's website. He manafactures photo lighting equipment and this is one of his newest products. It is a complete very light and small LiPo battery pack/inverter which is a pure sine wave one. It is very hard to get as the photo industry is buying them as fast as he can ...
