I have to admit, my insurance covers me for a new mask and tubing every 3 months and I take advantage of it why not, they're paying for it. Every 6 months I receive a new humidifier tank. I receive all the supplies on a religious basis, sometimes just to have some back ups and just to try a new mask.

I switched between the s8 autoset ii & the same in s9 before moving on to vpap. I didn't feel any difference between the two machines really--but psychologically felt better because the numbers I saw each morning were better. maybe you could look into something like this, meant for leaks but maybe would be some other form of a deterrent from removing the mask at night
