Re: Do you purchase a new mask every six months?
Those replacements are NOT free!!! "They" are NOT paying for them. You and I and every taxpayer and insurance covered citizen of the USA is paying for these accessories. Ain't socialism great! Just think how "free" they'll get when ObamaCare kicks in! That was my thoughts.....how much in 2014, prob...

Re: Trying to decide on a full face mask option
Its all personal preference, since your already using pillows I'd try the hybrid or liberty, both highly reviewed. I personally have the liberty just started using it and great results best results in a mask in 4 years and im anxious to try the hybrid next. I've used several FFM quattro, quattro fx,...

Re: cpap rhymes with crap
I couldn't agree with everyone more about it being a machine that improves the quality of life and is a significant improvement over a trach, I couldn't live without my daily dose of hose at night I think what the original poster was saying is it's 2011 with all the modern technology and advances in...

Re: Do you purchase a new mask every six months?
I have to admit, my insurance covers me for a new mask and tubing every 3 months and I take advantage of it why not, they're paying for it. Every 6 months I receive a new humidifier tank. I receive all the supplies on a religious basis, sometimes just to have some back ups and just to try a new mask.

Re: question about mask similarities/differences
Hi, I have been using FFM for years now, always been encountering problems with getting a good seal. Started with the ultra mirage , went to a quattro , went to a quattro fx, to a fisher 432, and now using a liberty. What everyone says you have to find what works for you, personally the liberty has ...

Re: S8 auto to an S9 auto
I switched between the s8 autoset ii & the same in s9 before moving on to vpap. I didn't feel any difference between the two machines really--but psychologically felt better because the numbers I saw each morning were better. Whether there actually was any physical difference, I honestly could not ...

Re: Will I ever stop taking off the mask?
maybe you could look into something like this, meant for leaks but maybe would be some other form of a deterrent from removing the mask at night

Re: Quattro FX -- Please post feedback on it
Tried a medium FX, lasted two nights, walked back into the DME office and exchanged for my ULTRA FFM... wish this mask worked for me, fit nicely but in the middle of the night it would always ride up my face, and those side spring clips would somehow always end up in my eyes, no matter how I adjuste...

Re: FlexiFit HC431 Full Face Mask "OK" with Resmed Adapt SV??
If the script the doc wrote calls for that specific mask i'd hound the DME over the script, they need to fill it the way it was written..and on top of that if that's the mask you want they should provide you what you want or need, accept no substitutions these DME's will walk all over people when th...

Re: S8 auto to an S9 auto
If that S8 is the only machine you now have......and it craps out......that $500 is going to seem pretty cheap at that point. Regardless of your motives, it's always a good bet to have a backup machine......even if it's something that just blows air. Yeah, I've read that the S9 has a better algorit...
