Has anyone ever thought of posting a torrent including an ISO image of the install disk? Certain sites outside of the US host the torrent (such as thepiratebay.org) and no one gets in trouble.

Good idea on the rental! If they won't give me one, I can pay for it. I have an appointment with my ear/nose/throat Doc on Monday. I'm going to ask him for a script for an APAP with recording features. He's the one that got me started on CPAP and the whole sleep study. So he'll probably write it. I ...

Weight Gain = Pressure Increase Needed?
I've been on CPAP for over a year now. At first it was great. I hadn't slept so well since I was a baby! Gradually over time, the good sleep went away, and now I'm tired again. I gained weight over that period of time too - 15 or 20 pounds. I'm not sure if the added weight is the cause or the result...

Alternative to dogs!
Instead of sleeping with dogs, try sleeping on the couch. It's very easy to sleep on your side on a couch, and much hard to sleep on your back. I do it all the time. Don't blame me if your back hurts in the morning, though. That just means it's time to get a better couch!

Well, it seems that the all-in-one folks are in the majority. I guess since I work with computers, I tend to organize things into folders, sub-folders, etc. It's just the way my brain works. Anyway, I'm all for the tagging concept. That would help people find specific things when they don't have tim...

As they say, patience is a virtue. Keep with it, and you'll see the benefits. When I started mine, it seemed like it took forever before I saw noticable benefits. I don't remember how long it took, but it was more than a week. I want to say two weeks, but don't quote me on that. It's not a magic bul...

Any chance of sub-forums being added?
I'm curious. Is there any chance of some sub-forums being created so we can divide up all these posts and organize things better in here. I'm having a hard time keeping up with all of the posts and sifting out the ones that don't interest me. Some suggested sub-forums: - Product Reviews & Recomendat...

I've never used a nasal pillow type mask, but I have been using a full face mask for about a year. I like the full face mask. It will take you a couple nights to adjust it properly to fit your comfort, but once you've tweaked it, you'll be fine. I would say that applies to just about any mask. It wi...

Once again, thanks to all that chimed in. That FAQ and CPAPopedia are THE bomb! DSM: thanks for the support. I appreciate hearing from someone who had simlilar experience. Unfortunately, I don't have anyone around while I'm sleeping to tell me that I'm having apnea events again. But I am starting to...

For Dummies Version?
OK, I just found this forum, and I've been surfing around reading things. But I'm having a hard time understanding a lot of it, since I don't know the terms. (such as: what's a DME?) Is there a "For Dummies" version or a FAQ available to get people started? I've started being treated for sleep apnea...
