Re: How bad does one need to be to require CPAP machine.

Yes I vote for you to be agressive with the system and get some treatment. You only live once, and how bad does it affect your life everyday? You mentioned quite a few things that are not positive things in your everyday routine and that could affect your future life.
Good luck,

Re: Anyone with perforated ear drum with cpap?

Hi Jencat, sorry you going throu this, hope you get some treatment (and pain control) unless it has to heal on its own. The only thing I can think of is to cap the pressures for comfort if you have pain. Or to sleep more elevated in order to use lower pressures (again for comfort). Hope you heal soo...

Re: Nasal Pillow Sealer Tests

Quietmorning,
You know the song " el yerberito"? It's a pretty tropical song, mentions a few natural medicine tricks.
Yerba santa is used for throat problems. You should play the song while prepping your balms

Re: taping mouth shut?

Uh oh This secret's out! Gotta keep the other secrets under lock peops
I used to tape I admit it, but since then I'm following a different school of thought (neck support). I just got tired of taping, or maybe the fad wore off

Re: New apap higher AHI & apap doesn't seem to be trying :(

I use th intellipap, and find it true it's not aggressive in cranking up the pressures. That is actually the reason I found useful when I tried the auto as it does not run away for me like the older remstar resp I have ( i suffer terribly with increased pressures). Even just half a point will make t...

Re: Anyone have the same problem with the FX?

I already do use a clip on it, I use one from an older LT.Altering my masks as soon as I get them is pretty much routine.I have been trying to get used to the fx but these days due to its flippidy/floppidiness I switched back to the LT which I find a lot more stable albeit a bit more bulky. Re: Why did you choose cpap over the OA?

Without cpap I sleep 12 hours with no rest, I function at the speed of an amoeba, it takes me 1-2 hours to fully "wake up", my attention span is negative , my grumpiness gets exponentially larger than the distance from here to the sun, life loses taste; so yeah evn though my weak esophageal sphincte...

I'm also getting to a point where some procedure for my acid problems(due to weak esoph sphincter and exacerbated by cpap pressure) is beginning to look interesting. I'll take the bracelet, and the necklace to go with it
