Re: Want to sell ResMed AutoSet II S8 but can't on cpapauction!
Are there any rules regarding sales of CPAP items on this forum? Would I just create a new Thread and list the item?

Re: ResMed S8 Auto Set II VS S9 Auto Set
Thank you for the replies and Great suggestions. At times I can get carried away with measuring instruments and what they can & can not tell me. I find myself trying to accelerate to a final destination too quickly in order to make up for lost time which can't be done.....Slowing down will also save...

Re: ResMed S8 Auto Set II VS S9 Auto Set
why not try the S8 for a few months, monitor your numbers and see how you actually feel before rushing off to purchase more toys. You make a Great point. I am new to the data card/ data recording models. The reason why I am looking at a more advance model with O2 level recording is because my theor...

Re: Windows XP, ResMed AutoSet S8, and ResScan version ___
I am running 3.13 and I am having issues with days showing absolutely no usage (Zero) when in fact I used the machine for 7+ hours. Really strange. I wonder if 3.10 would help with that?Slinky wrote:but have heard of enough problems w/it am sticking w/3.10.

Re: ResMed S8 Auto Set II VS S9 Auto Set
How is your APAP treatment going? Cheers, Bill Actually my APAP treatment is going fairly well. Of course I do have good days and bad days but that can be expected. I am also currently selecting a better mask to help improve comfort and reduce my leak numbers. I guess I am mostly jealous when I see...

ResMed S8 Auto Set II VS S9 Auto Set
I had a question regarding the ResMed S8 Auto Set II vs the S9 Auto Set. It took me a while to obtain a card reader and get the software working for my ResMed S8 Auto Set II. I am somewhat disappointed that I can only record detail info on Pressure, Leaks, Events and Usage hours. The S8 Auto Set II ...

Re: Which of these 2 units would you choose?
I know I sound wishy washy but Not at all. I totally understand that this is not an exact science. I now learned and understand that central "hits" can be for erroneous reasons such as a "turn over". I have been thinking of trying straight CPAP just to see what the results would be regarding centra...

Re: Which of these 2 units would you choose?
I was titrated at 8 cm but still had a lot of events and the pressure wanted to go higher in response. APAP set at 8 cm allowed more events to sneak in but when I set the minimum at 10 cm it can get to 12 quickly enough to stop the events. At 8 cm it simply could not respond quickly enough and the ...

Re: Help interpreting 1st numbers
Leaks aren't that bad. Everything is far below the red line. I'd say your good to go. The flow limitations are interesting, but I don't know enough about them to say anything useful. Excellent! Leaks are not that bad? Those are big numbers. The median pressure is only 5.2,,, you also have a Big lea...

Re: Help interpreting 1st numbers
Did you check your leak rate the morning after you made your chin strap? I would like to know what you found because I am dealing with the same issue. I constantly recorded frequent large numbers for mask leak and at the same time I know the mask has a good seal. At this time I am not using a chin s...
