Hey ladies,
I have not forgotten about you guys. You are my angels. I've been getting so much restorative sleep lately! Usually getting anywhere from 6 to 8 hours of non-stop leep and AHIs of 4 to 0.2. I'm feeling absolutely changed. How r u guys doing? And what r u up to these days?

Re: Totally off topic.... Perverts Only!!!
Thank you, those are nice things to say. I know that I am cute, and smart and funny, and any man would be lucky to have me. I am also worthy of being treated like I am precious and I deserve someone who is honest all the time. I am not sure if he is out there or not, but maybe. Men in general are a...

Re: Someone please help this Newbie!
I can just imagine how those alarms sound like over there. Here, I had to contend with speeding cars and firetruck/ambulance sirens. Those usually wake me up every night living here in Miami but unless there was a massive decline of emergencies and accidents, I don't wake up to them anymore. First....

Re: Someone please help this Newbie!
That's why I love this forum. I've gained so much knowledge from threads that have "meandered" a bit and hit on a subject that applied to my situation or added to my education . So now Alex knows what EDS is to add to his alphabet soup! [/quote] EDS, RDI, AHI, EPR...give us three letters, we'll make...

Re: Someone please help this Newbie!
Feel good. I know I can feel better though. Not sleepy at all and have been really productive and clear headed all day. Did my first workout when I got up this morning.
Have to check my data when i get home since my AHI read 6.2 this morning...but overall had a good night sleep.
You?

Re: Someone please help this Newbie!
Sounds even more like it need it's own thread. The EDS? It's one of the major symptoms of OSA, as well as every other disorder under the planet, I think. But probably not one that Alex is going to be complaining about this week, and this is his thread. Oh, I see your point. Perhaps you haven't been...

Re: Someone please help this Newbie!
Well, AJ...well done! It seems as though you have "arrived" as the others have stated. I know you are relieved. Having your OSA under control is a life changer. I believe (as others do) you will become one of the experts here in no time...helping other newbies manage this disorder. Remember to come...

Re: Someone please help this Newbie!
Lizistired, I'm confused by what you said. I thought an apnea was the cessation of breathing for 10 seconds or more. Where am I going wrong here? A hypopnea is reduction in airflow of 50 % for greater than 10 seconds. Thanks. That's the official definition. It could have been 5 secs, 8 secs, or wha...

Re: Someone please help this Newbie!
Can you explain a bit more about flow limitation? I'm not to knowledgeable about that. What does it mean and what am I looking for? Good question. We've discussed it here before and essentially concluded it's a slippery indicator, hard to define clearly, and does not have a meaningful numerical val...

Re: Someone please help this Newbie!
Alex that's great to hear, I think you may actually now have therapy that works for you. When you get a chance I do suggest you take a close look at your detailed data across several nights, especially the flow data when zoomed in on a 1 minute or 5 minute time scale and compare how things look on ...

My sentiments exactly. Signing on and registering here was the best decision I've made. I must have had this condition for such a long time because I haven't felt this good in a LONG time. Lol

Re: Someone please help this Newbie!
Thanks Pugsy. Poohbear, I've been living with AHIs in the high 80's and 90's for a lil over a month when I started with CPAP and consistently thought it had to do with masks and leaks because I defiantly believed my Dr that I was on the right pressure and on top of that, I was not educated enough on...
