Help! Taking my mask off EVERY night!!!

This has happened each and every night since I first got my machine in Feb. of this year. I am fully concious and aware when I take it off, but I can't keep myself from doing this. I have dealt with this issue for years. Now that I am using cpap therapy, it still haunts me. I dread going to sleep. Newbie here - need advice

I began using my equipment last night. I slept ok, until about 4 hours in. I woke up and the "nibs" on the ends of the stabilizer arms were poking into my face. What can I do to keep this from happening? Other than it was a good experience.
