AHI going up - raise pressure?

Just curious. My AHI is still seriously low, it's just that it's gone up and I'm wondering if it's due to weight gain or what? I was always around 0.3-0.6 and am now running 1.2-1.8. I have a autopap with my settings at 7-20. I'm thinking of increasing my minimum to 9 and seeing if that does anythin...

Re: Are the good reputable DME's?

Then again if i spend like $1500 at apria i only have to come up with $300 out of pocket. Have you met your deductible and $200 "base"? Because it sounds to me from your coverage that you listed that you have to pay both of those out before they'll pay 80%... (Just found out that with my own 80/20 ...

YAY! The only thing that would make me love my S9 Autoset more - is if I had gotten the pink one!

Re: Newbie with CIGNA Needs Advice

Awesome! I sent a request for info to HomeLink this afternoon and someone called me this evening. She's getting me all set up. Yay! Was NOT looking forward to dealing with Apria or CareCentrix based on experiences of others here! Thanks so much!

Re: Newbie with CIGNA Needs Advice

I have CIGNA POS, and they have been wonderful with me. Instead of using Carecentrix, I used HomeLink as the in-network clearinghouse, and they set me up with an outstanding DME provider in my area, ExtraKare. I insisted on an S9 Autoset and an OPUS 360 nasal pillows mask, and ExtraKare had no prob...

Re: Swift FX for Her Leaks

I use the bottom strap, but don't put it under my hair (I have very thin hair, so it doesn't help much.) If I wear it too loose, it leaks a lot more. And I kind of loosen the top strap and let it fall a little towards the back of my head (versus straight over the top) and I tighten the lower strap t...

Re: How many teeth do you have?

I never got wisdom teeth (and have been x-rayed for them - they're nowhere to be found.) And I also never got my upper right 12 year molar. Also completely MIA. So I have 27 teeth and I CERTAINLY have no room for wisdom teeth on my jaws.

I'll see if I can figure out how to post a couple of graphs. My pressure doesn't appear to ever go over 13.

Centrals - Graphs added

I just pulled data off my card for the first time in about a month. (I've been on CPAP since Feb. 18) I'm noticing that fairly consistently about 35% of my events are marked as Central. They are spread throughout the night, not clustered (although on a couple of nights, all of the centrals fell betw...

I don't know about ya'll, but as soon as I put on my mask, it's like my body knows it's time to settle down and go to sleep. I immediately relax and am out like a light!

Re: PROPER CLEANING, Equipment Life Span

I've been told by two RT to specifically avoid Dawn, anti-bacterial soap, and baby wipes. One RT recommended Lemon Joy.
